Stranded hiker in fairytale rescue by gallant prince

A hiker accomplished what normally only happens in fairytales after she was rescued by a prince. Ruby Lawrence was walking on Mount Snowdon in Wales to raise money for the army regiment of her late boyfriend when she slipped and fell, breaking her tibia and fibia. Prince William, who was completing helicopter training in the area, was dispatched to her rescue, guiding his craft through treacherous weather while enabling his crew to lift her to safety. She only found out the identity of her regal rescuer later when told by a hospital staff member.
