Conviction on of two boys on rape charges stirs controversy in United Kingdom

The United Kingdom is reviewing of how children are treated in a criminal court after two boys aged 10 and 11 were convicted on attempted rape charges. The boys were found guilty of attempted rape of an 8-year-old girl and have become Britain's youngest sex offenders - and the eight-year-old victim. In the court case, the victim admitted in cross-examination she had lied about the attack. The boys must now register as sex offenders and will be sentenced at a later date.
