Christmas 2011: Preventing HIV in rural Kenya

http://www.christianaid.org.uk/christmas Christmas Day will not be a holiday for Rogers Ochieng Otieno who lives in Usenge, Kenya. As a volunteer community health worker with the Rural Transport Network, run by Christian Aid and Virgin Unite, he will continue his work delivering vital healthcare advice and vital medicines around Nyanza province. This work regularly puts him in contact with fishermen working on Lake Victoria and the information he provides on HIV means they now know how to protect themselves and others.
