Christmas 2011: Preventing malaria in rural Kenya

http://www.christianaid.org.uk/christmas Christmas Day will not be a holiday for Rogers Ochieng Otieno who lives in Usenge, Kenya. As a volunteer community health worker with the Rural Transport Network, run by Christian Aid and Virgin Unite, he will continue his work delivering vital mosquito nets, healthcare advice and vital medicines to families like Rebecca's around Nyanza province. Following Rogers' advice Rebecca's mum Rose Athiambo bought nets to protect her family from malaria.
