How to Preview Black Friday Ads

How to Preview Black Friday Ads - as part of the expert series by GeoBeats. Good news! You do not have to spend your Thanksgiving poring through all those Black Friday ads trying to come up with your plan of attack for your shopping spree on Black Friday. You can do a little pre-planning by visiting a website called TheBlackFriday.com. They actually post the ads in advance. Many of the popular ones are already up now, like WalMart, Kohl's, Sears, KMart, Target. Gives you plenty of time to compare prices and plan ahead before you actually hit the stores. Some words of wisdom: read the fine print. If an ad says quantities are limited, or (very popular on Black Friday) it might say, five per store, do not get your heart set on that great deal unless you are planning to be one of the first in line and do some camping out. The second suggestion I have for you is, prioritize. It is going to be impossible for you to be at Sears, and KMart and JC Penney all at the same time. So decide where your big ticket items are, where you can maximize the most savings, and hit those stores. Or, divide and conquer. If you have other members of your family willing to go out and fight the crowds, give each person their list to take advantage of. Before any of this, please use the internet to compare prices. One of my favorite sites is pricegrabber.com and you can search by specific item, or most common is category. So let us say there is somebody on your Christmas list that wants a camera. Click cameras. Scroll down and they have a list of the best cameras. So we had love to take a look at the list of best cameras. And they come up with reviews, and this first camera here gets four stars out of five. You can read eight reviews from various people that own the camera. And let us say you are kind of interested in finding out more about that one. You can compare prices on it, which believe it or not range from $698 to $1,128.59. That is a huge price difference. So when I click compare now, I will see a list of stores that are offering this camera, how much they are charging, and if they are offering free shipping or any other discounts. You can search thousands and thousands of products. So this is an ideal site to go through before you actually hit the stores. Be prepared, is what I suggest for Black Friday, always shop with a list, always know your prices and you will come out ahead. This is the best way to save money because it is so easy to get caught up in the frenzy and just buy things and get home and regret it and then not want to go stand in line to return it. Be prepared this holiday season, do your homework before Black Friday hits.
