SEA LIFE Arizona to Become Home for Rescued Sea Turtle
SEA LIFE Arizona will bring a rescued sea turtle home to the desert in early 2012, which will be the first green sea turtle on display in the state.
To accommodate the majestic creature, the aquarium's 161,000 gallon ocean tank will be redesigned beginning September 12th. The ocean tank project will last approximately two months and require the tank to be drained for vital cosmetic changes that are necessary to house the sea turtle.
SEA LIFE will remain open during the tank redesign. Guests will be able to experience the many other wonders of the aquarium including the touch pools, shoaling ring, bay of rays and newly-opened Claws exhibit.
