Soccer fans in India's eastern city of Kolkata are to be treated to top class international football. Argentina will play Venezuela in a friendly match on September 2nd. Indian firm Nivia Sports designed a new match ball for the occasion.
A dream come true for soccer fans in India – an international friendly between Argentina and Venezuela in the eastern city of Kolkata on September 2nd.
And to ramp up the excitement further – a grand event on Sunday unveiling the official match ball, developed by the Indian firm Nivia Sports.
The game's main attraction will be soccer icon Lionel Messi, current World Player of the Year and considered the best Argentine footballer since the legendary Diego Maradona.
Such superstar players require the finest soccer balls to complement their skills, so Nivia Sports have created the “Nivia Simbolo”, a uniquely designed football made from a special polyurethane material, and lovingly hand-stitched.
It is expected the ball will be a great hit with players from both sides.
Speaking at the promotional event on Sunday, executive director of Celebrity Management Group Bhaswar Goswami, expressed his growing excitement.

"I am excited about the full team, both the teams. This is a very special occasion for Indian football that a proper international friendly is being played here.
