Hi, I'm Colleen and this is Brenna. We're at Bend Yoga Studio today and we're going to show you Ardha Chandrasana or Half Moon Pose. Brenna begins with her feet grounding down on to the mat. As she inhales, she'll lift her hands up over her head. And as she exhales she'll fall forward over her legs coming into a very beautiful forward fold. Great, very good. From there she'll inhale, she'll lengthen her spine and step her right finger tips forward about 10 or 12 inches in front of her right toes. Great. From there she'll gently bent her knees a little bit and extend her left foot straight back out of her left hip. As she breathes in she'll draw strength into her belly and as she breaths out she'll extend her right and left legs very straight. And grounding down into her right fingertips as she's ready, she'll lift her left finger tips up into the sky. If its comfortable and she trusts her right shin bone, and if she grounds down into her right finger tip, she can turn her gaze up towards the sky as well.
