Deadly floods hit south-central provinces of Vietnam a week after north-central areas were submerged.
A week after northern parts of central Vietnam suffered record floods it's now the turn of south-central provinces.
At least four people have lost their lives in the latest floods to hit the region.
Thousands of people have been forced to abandon their homes, after unprecedented rainfall of half a metre in some areas.
That precipitation level is two thirds higher than average, and local media say more than 450 houses have collapsed.
Almost 6,000 hectares of crops have been destroyed.
Vietnamese forecasters say water levels in provincial rivers will continue to rise and flooding will continue for several days.
