Bus Crash Kills 19 in Eastern India

At least 19 people were killed and more than a dozen injured when a speeding bus crashed into a tree in India's eastern state of Jharkhand on Wednesday.
The bus, carrying members of a wedding party, was on its way to Asansol City in West Bengal.
The accident happened early Wednesday when the driver lost control of the bus.
The sound of the impact awoke locals who rushed to help the victims.
Sixteen people were killed at the scene while three others died later in hospital.
Officials say many of the injured are in critical condition.
