Rioting mars Barcelona title win

Barcelona fans have clashed with police after the Catalan club claimed the La Liga title.

The night began with celebrations by thousands of fans who gathered at the Canaletas Fountain in Las Ramblas after Barca inflicted a crushing 4-0 win over Real Valladolid.

Clashes broke out between police and fans who were tearing down advertisements from buildings and setting them on fire.

Riot police charged at the crowd firing rubber bullets whilst fans threw glass bottles, stones and set rubbish bins alight.
