00:00So flames started, you know, gradually going towards the top of that building, then the
00:05fire brigade had not yet been called. Gradually, when someone placed the call and they came in
00:11and the next thing we saw from the side of the building, we saw the residents inside,
00:18I think they were like in panic. We saw them from the window, sort of like in panic,
00:24they were waving at us, we were looking from outside the window and then the fire brigade
00:30came and I think maybe they were trying to carry out like a survey how to manage the flames but
00:36there was no alarm, surprisingly, there was no alarm. The black flames was coming out of the
00:41ninth floor and I saw an elderly man through a window on the top floor, just standing there at
00:46the window and I cannot understand why the building was not evacuated. They were in their
00:51flats, totally oblivious to the fact that there was a raging fire, inferno, in the building.
00:58There was no alarms going off, we heard no alarms. It's been a disaster waiting to happen.
01:04We've all mentioned alarms to the council, we had smoke alarms and the danger.
