Meteor shower across midwest US

Residents across the midwestern United States reported strange lights and sights in the sky on Wednesday night.

They weren't UFOs, according to the Federal Aviation Agency. The FAA says there was a meteor shower.

This video was taken by a camera fixed to a police vehicle dashboard in Elma, Iowa.

There were no reports of any significant damage.

Most of the meteors were believed to have burned up before hitting the Earth.
