Girls Aloud Sarah eyes up solo career

Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding has become the third member of the group to announce they are working on a solo album.


Sarah says she is beginning work on a record at the moment. She wants to move away from 'cheesy pop' and reportedly would like to go in a similar direction as Lady GaGa.


She has apparently got some top producers lined up to help her with the songs.


She follows in the footsteps of Cheryl Cole who has already scored three Top Ten hits and a number one album, Three Words.


Fellow bandmate Nadine Coyle is also preparing to unleash her solo material in the coming months.


All of Girls Aloud announced they were working on individual projects after the release of their last studio album together, Out Of Control.


It is not known when all five members will return to work on a new record together.
