00:00So we just saw some images on the screen there.
00:03There's been renewed fighting in Darfur.
00:07What has sparked this latest round of violence that we're seeing?
00:11What has sparked the violence is the push out of Khartoum
00:15by the Sudanese armed forces to the rapid support forces.
00:19They have been pushed out of Jazira as well.
00:23And most of their forces basically went into Darfur
00:27and this large area made up of four states is their home ground, you can say.
00:35So they have been based out of there
00:39and they've been bombing and shelling civilians
00:43and non-armed people in those areas.
00:49The latest round of violence we've seen has been on Zamzam Camp,
00:55which has been a refugee camp.
00:58And it's been, I mean, I don't know how to describe it.
01:04It's terrible.
01:05It has been a refugee camp for most of the people
01:09coming to the west of Sudan, away from the violence in Khartoum
01:13and in Al Jazeera and other cities.
01:16And it's been home to almost 500,000 refugees.
01:22And there has been bombing by the RSF
01:26and this outright attack last week.
01:30that's been a refugee camp for a community.
