00:00And you obviously have reported on a Pope's funeral before and I just want to ask you, what about the magnitude of people who turn up?
00:09I think a lot of us forget just how important the Vatican is as a place.
00:14With the billions of people who are Roman Catholics around the world, we can expect it to be a mass of people who will arrive into Rome in the next couple of days to file past the body of Pope Francis.
00:27That will, as you mentioned, take place in St. Peter's Basilica, whereby the faithful will file past and will pay their respects.
00:34But we can expect it to go on for the next three days, whereby there will be these many thousands of people every single day going past there as well.
00:41It is of a magnitude that you've not seen before. The security getting in and out, because keeping in mind Vatican City in itself, although it is an autonomous country, is a tiny area inside the greater city of Rome.
00:52The security measures in place on the Rome side by the Carbonarian and the Vatican side by the Swiss guards will be quite immense.
00:59You can expect there to be something on the scale that you've never seen before.
01:02We've seen the Queen's funeral. We know how extremely regimented that was.
01:07The history and the tradition of a papal funeral goes back almost as long as the Catholic Church itself.
01:14And these are unchanged. There's a 500-page manuscript, which must be rigorously stuck to for the duration of the Pope's funeral.
01:21Right through to every little detail about the Pope's funeral is documented in this 500-page book.
01:27And I want to add film.
01:38And thank you.
01:40So, I think it very important to see the important issue of the civil loan problem.
01:45We've got family members.
01:46We have all the different basics of the song that this month had come to do without saying the book had probably spent less than once half years away.
01:51We had a właśnie kind of backup matter than in the mass.
