00:09at magic983.com. I'm Debbie Mazzella at Karmacat Zen Dog Rescue Society in Milltown and we have so
00:15much to talk to you about. I am here today with volunteer Lauren Sieber and Dora the Explorer.
00:22She may even say something on camera. We've prepped her before we started filming. So I want to start
00:28off by telling you about some upcoming events for Karmacat Zen Dog Rescue Society. Coming up on
00:33Friday, July 29th, it is Dine to Donate at Pliables in South Brunswick, which is at the corner of Route
00:3927 in Finnegan's Lane. You don't need a code. You don't need a flyer. Just dine in all day and a
00:44portion of your dinner or your lunch proceeds will benefit Karmacat Zen Dog Rescue Society. And of
00:50course, don't forget the first Wednesday of the month through October, the merch team is going to
00:55be at Bell Works in Holmdel from 11 to 4. So all you got to do is check their social media,
01:00Karmacat Zen Dog, and you can get all the info about the merch events. And of course, we connect
01:05you with their website through magic983.com. So there are some volunteer opportunities that we
01:10want to talk to you about as well. And here to tell you about that, since Dora is a little shy,
01:16I'm going to put the microphone over to Lauren Sieber.
01:18So as always, we are looking for some outstanding volunteers to join our team. Whether you're
01:25interested in helping keep our adoption center clean and running smoothly or coming in to play
01:31with kitties like Dora here, fostering, crafting, helping out with fundraisers, whatever your interest
01:39is, we would love to have you join our team. And I also want to talk to you today about some very
01:45special adoptable kitties that we have in foster. You'll see pictures of them up here. But we have
01:51Marky, who is a how do you how do you say it for the seniors? Oh, he's experienced. Experienced. Yes.
01:58Marky is a experienced gray tabby. We have Big Mac, who is also experienced. He is an orange tabby.
02:08Very, very, very friendly guys. We have Mo, who is an orange and white cat. And we also have lots of
02:16kittens. Don't tell Dora. But you can check out our website and see all of the little kitties who are
02:23up for adoption right now. And you can tell that Dora is a girl because as Lauren was talking, she was
02:29playing with her necklace. Oh, there she goes. So she's already like, hey, buy me jewelry. Buy me good,
02:35fun things. Maybe some expensive purses or some expensive catnip. And she is all your girl. Those
02:40catnip toys at the merch stations are pretty good. That's true. That's true. Because Cornell and Dolly
02:46have gotten those in the past. And Dolly has slobbered all over them and been high for days.
02:52Can I say hi for days? I guess I can. It's catnip. It's fine. Hey, one more thing we want to talk to you
02:58about before we let you go and watch the video and check out all the cute, adorable adoptables. There is a
03:03Community Thrives event going on for Karma Cat Zen Dog Rescue Society. And this has become a yearly
03:08thing. So it's starting now and running through August 12th. And there's weekly contests involved
03:13and it's an online fundraiser so that Karma Cat Zen Dog Rescue Society can get grants to stay open in
03:20the community and help out the community through TNR, through volunteerism, and of course finding homes
03:25for deserving animals. So watch the rest of the video. Enjoy the kittens on here. I am going to go play
03:32with kittens. You going to help me? Absolutely. I think so. And I may have to buy some catnip toys
03:37before I go home since Cornell and Dolly watched this video religiously. And they will say, hey,
