00:00The turnout for the first day of absentee voting was expectedly good and promises to yield even more ballots cast moving forward.

00:07This despite allegations of a voter who photographed this cast ballot and allegedly did not match the names in the QR code review.

00:15PTV correspondent Luisa Arispa narrates the full story.

00:20The Commission on Elections doesn't see any kind of glitch on the first internet voting conducted for the overseas Filipinos.

00:27As a matter of fact, out of 77 posts, more and more OFWs enroll with the overseas voting and counting system with 57,000 enrollees as of today.

00:38Because of this, Combelec expects a higher voter turnout.

00:42Natutuwa tayo sapagkat ang dami kaagad na wakabumoto at nag-increase na rin po yung bilang ng nagpapa-enroll.

00:50Hope not help talaga natin bago matapos ang pagboto o pagpapa-enroll na sa Mayo a 7, sana man lang naka more than 50% ang magpa-enroll para makaboto sa gamit ng internet.

01:02Still, the Combelec has received complaints with regards to the results of the votes already cast by OFWs.

01:08Like this OFW who posted on social media that upon his QR code review of the ballot he filled out and cast, he saw different results he swears is true.

01:19The Combelec explained, this is due to an encrypted script used to ensure that votes will not be used for vote buying.

01:26The poll body also reminds the public taking pictures of their casted votes is against the law.

01:52But they assure that upon the random manual audit of citizens armed groups such as PPCRV and NAMFREL, all votes cast are accurate.

02:00OFWs may still unroll for the internet voting until May 7.

02:03They can continue to cast votes until May 12.

02:06Even the Malacanang Palace convinces OFWs to cast their votes before the election day.

02:11Dito po nila mapapakita ang kanilang boses, ang ating mensahe po mula sa palasyo ay gampanan nyo po ang inyong tungkulin bilang isang Pilipino.

02:24Bumoto po kayo ng nararapat, bumoto po mula sa puso.

02:28Huwag pong bumoto dahil lamang sa bulong o dahil kayo'y nabayaran.

02:31Kundi iboto nyo po ang mga taong nararapat, yung maaasahan po natin, mga leader na hindi ibibenta ang bansa kahit sa anumang paraan, at mga leader na makabayan.
