Kolkata Knight Riders wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock said Ajinkya Rahane and Moeen Ali's familiarity with the Chepauk pitch helped his side beat Chennai Super Kings. "When we bowled, it seemed a lot slower. We have guys Ajinkya and Moeen, who have been here (Chepauk) before and they knew it. That's why the selectors played an extra spinner against CSK," Moeen Ali said in the post-match press conference after the win over CSK.

01:25so it's always mixing it up I think it's hard to it's hard to line up certain spin bowlers like
01:34that because you never know what you're going to get and on top of that having that that amount of
01:39skill it's the areas they bowl and Suni Suni prides himself on the areas that he bowls and so as
01:46Varun they're always working on their games always trying to get better so and obviously Suni when he
01:52bats he brings the x-factor I think every bone alive knows he's going to come hard um and you
01:58know he practices really hard um he's always had practices I don't think he's missed the practice
02:03even optional practices so he really does work on it uh and you know it when it comes off it's
02:09it's great uh means the team's going to get off to a flyer so you know he brings really does bring
02:14that x-factor at the top uh it's well famous for Neil it's it's initially um china because i'll take

03:49as a wicket taker um obviously it depends on this on the scenario that we face sometimes i guess i think

04:04today we thought okay let's go with the spinner to start off and then he'll come in and then that's
04:09his job is to come in and make sure always like break a wicket or when wicket is broken to come on and
04:14just try and keep um getting wickets and you know and he bowled with aggression tonight which is really
04:20nice to hit the deck hard um use these he's um slow ball really well he's got a really good slow ball
04:27um so i think that's what he's he doesn't have one set we're not trying to give him one set
04:35um plan we want to give him as many chances he can to pick up wickets for the team even though we got
04:41the the two spinners but as a main fast bowler he we're going to get to certain wickets or stadiums
04:48where we're going to need our big fast bowler to stand up and really do what he did tonight so
04:53we try and mix it up um with him um so that's pretty much what it what it is it's not just one
04:58thing last one to be honest none of them um i i've been playing against them and with well firstly this
05:13is my first time playing with him but i've been playing against them for quite a while
05:16so i could i pick them quite pretty easily um so that's pretty much that i know pretty much know
05:23exactly what they're going to bowl um and when and to which better because i also as a keeper i
05:27sit in the bowlers meetings so i kind of know what's going to happen um so it's pretty pretty
