Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for information after a Notts County fan had his car stolen while he was watching a match. A man in his 50s had parked his grey Ford Mustang on Iremonger Road to attend the Notts County game against Chesterfield on March 15. However, when he returned to the parking spot, he found his car had been stolen.
The man then reported the theft to Nottinghamshire Police officers and after inquiries officers found that the car had been driven away at 1.40pm.
Police are now appealing to the public for information and asking anyone who witnessed the theft or captured the car on dashcam footage to come forward. PC Ryan Price said: “Having your car stolen is very distressing, and that is why we are committed to investigating vehicle crime and theft. We have pursued a number of lines of inquiry since this theft was reported and are now asking for the public’s help.
“If anyone has any information about this incident or has dash cam footage that could assist us, please contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 492 of 15 March 2025.”
