00:00The Commission on Elections promised that Filipinos will still be able to vote in Myanmar after a strong vote there.

00:13After a strong vote in Myanmar, the Commission on Elections is now working on a way to ensure that Filipinos will be able to vote in the country.

00:25It is proven that instead of internet voting, postal voting or voting using balota and automated counting machines will be the voting there.

00:34In Myanmar, it is already clear that we will still send balotas to our countrymen through postal voting.

00:41There are more than 300 balotas, 320 if I'm not mistaken.

00:45And therefore, we will not implement internet voting but postal voting.

00:50In total, there are 370 Filipinos in Myanmar.

00:54The printing of balotas by COMELEC is fast for them.

00:59That's why they will be able to give balotas right away.

01:01And on Friday, they are also expected to be online to be able to send automated counting machines.

01:08It is in a diplomatic pouch to ensure, protect and secure our balotas.

01:14The machines will start deployment this April 4.

01:18In Thailand, where there are 8,203 Filipino voters, internet voting will still continue.

01:25Because the situation of Filipinos there and the communication line is good.

01:30We will still have internet voting.

01:45COMELEC will also continue to ask Filipinos abroad to enroll for internet voting.

01:52In the latest data of COMELEC, only 17,323 Filipinos are enrolled abroad.
