00:26route in the 1980s connecting Bedford and Brighton through to central London. A major
00:32redevelopment project began again in the early 2010s to prepare Farringdon for the arrival
00:38of Crossrail, now known as the Elizabeth Line, which would enhance its role as a central
00:44interchange for passengers travelling across London. Today, Farringdon is a critical transport
