00:00Transport for London has resumed processing applications for some Oyster
00:05photocards two months after a pause caused by a cyber attack. For over two
00:11months residents across London including school children, students and people over
00:1660 have been unable to apply for discounted travel. Transport for London
00:22has now confirmed that it will reopen applications in phases and will refund
00:27customers who may have overpaid for their travel during this disruption. The
00:33cyber attack occurred on September the 1st affected around 5,000 customers. TfL
00:40has contacted those individuals informing them that their personal
00:44details including sort codes and bank account numbers may have been accessed
00:48by hackers. While this breach was a major concern for customers, TfL is working to
00:54resolve the issue and minimise any further risk. Planned strikes by the RMT
01:01union on the London Underground have been called off following successful pay
01:05negotiations between the union and Transport for London. Industrial action
01:10was set to begin on Friday evening with further walkouts scheduled in the coming
01:14weeks. However a union spokesman confirmed that the RMT had received a
01:20significantly improved offer and that the workers would no longer take action.
01:24Despite this, strikes by members of the ASTAF union are still scheduled to go
01:30ahead later this month with talks ongoing. London Sunset has announced
01:35details of a major five-year investment program worth 1.1 billion pounds aimed at
01:41transforming the passenger experience and strengthening the airport's global
01:46connections. The centrepiece of this plan is a 600 million pound extension to the
01:51existing terminal. For more on this and other transport news from across the
