Nadi Weekend (30/3/25)
Transcript
00:00The next episode will be a bit different.
00:07The Secret of the National Championship, Peter Klamowski,
00:10hopes Jon Iraszabal will be able to participate in the 2nd training session
00:13of the Asian Championship against Vietnam on June.
00:16It seems that Iraszabal's status as a new player of Malaysia Abroad,
00:20Klamowski, is a bit shared about the possibility of the
00:22native of Berkson da Silva,
00:24strengthen the Malaysian flag.
00:26Exclusive, Part 3, Klamowski with Zuhail Mee, Zainal Azam.
00:30After Hector Havel and Gabriel Palmeiro, there are 6 to 7 more, the Malaysian Abroad will
00:52join the National Team, as mentioned by Tunku Mahkoti Ismail.
01:05So any update on that coach?
01:09Not today from me, but I definitely can confirm that there is a process underway to search
01:18and find any Malaysians that are playing abroad and there's definitely many players on the
01:23radar which is exciting because that creates a strong Malaysian National Team.
01:33It's a little bit out of my control in terms of the process, but what I hear is quite positive
01:37and it's really exciting that there's some Malaysians playing abroad that are at a good
01:43level doing some good work with their respective clubs.
01:46And I know that they'll come into contention if they're playing well, if they're fit, and
01:52I know that they're hungry to play for Malaysia as well, which is important.
01:56But again, this revolution is not about a short-term focus, it's about building the
02:02foundation for this football nation that's proud to have long-term sustainable success
02:10and that's what we're working hard towards.
02:12I agree with that coach, that we can't rely on only one player, but still we want to know
02:17about the rumours, the speculation regarding John Irizabal, linked to the National Team.
02:23So how about that coach?
02:26I certainly hope he's in the next camp.
02:29Coach, besides that, Bruxen Da Silva, the striker of JT also, he will join the National Team.
02:37How do you see Bruxen as a coach view?
02:42A very good player, so if he becomes available then it's a great player to have on the list.
02:50And then, if in form, if playing well, and it seems like he's very hungry to play for
02:55the country, that's a really good combination.
02:58He's a goal scorer, he's a threat on goal, he suits our play.
03:03So if he becomes available, again I'm not involved in that process, but he'll be definitely
03:07another player to add on the list.
03:09And I think another player, like all of the players, to make Malaysia proud.
03:14Coach, last one.
03:15We have a few Malaysians abroad, in the UK, US, like Wan Koozai, Richard Chin, Kobe Chong.
03:26These players have been hyped before.
03:28So how are their chances to get through for the National Team?
03:32We have, yeah, they're available.
03:36Anyone that's Malaysian and playing well is available for selection.
03:41So there's no difference there.
03:44If they're Malaysian and they're in form, and they're fit and hungry, they're available
03:48for selection.
03:50All Malaysian players are on the radar, and again, we'll be looking at everything to make
03:55sure we have the strongest squad possible for the next camp.
03:59Coach, last word to the fans.
04:02To all the Malaysian supporters, thank you for the support.
04:07Please keep supporting the players.
04:10Together we can grow as a country, move this footballing nation in the right direction.
04:16We've got a tough game here, next game.
04:18Please come and sell this stadium out.
04:2090,000 plus fans in this stadium, cheering the players on will give them power for a
04:25strong performance to beat a tough opponent.
04:28And together we can do it.
04:31One last message as well.
