00:24Sometimes asking Greenland to get itself

00:28into terrible economic debt traps that

00:30would make the people of Greenland

00:32not self-determined and sovereign,

00:34but to mortgage their future to hostile foreign countries that

00:37don't have their best interests at heart.

00:39That is not what the United States of America wants to do.

00:41What we want to do is to protect the security of this territory

00:45because it matters for us, and it matters

00:47for the people who live here.
