00:00And at this point, we are going to discuss an update about the programs of the current administration here in Mr. President on the Goal.

00:16First of all, fellow countrymen, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. is confident that the new ambassadors of Colombia, Cambodia, and Ukraine in the Philippines will be an ingredient in maintaining the strong relationship of the three countries in Manila.

00:32This is after President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. received the credentials of Ambassadors Edgar Rodrigo Rojas Garavito of Colombia, Sin Sariem of Cambodia, and Yulia Oleksandrivna Fediv of Ukraine in a separate ceremony in the Palacio de Manacanang on Tuesday.

00:52On the other hand, Rojas Garavito said that Colombia and the Philippines are the two countries that share the same vision for lasting peace and development.

01:04The formal diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Colombia was established on July 5, 1946. Colombia is now serving as the home of more than 100 of our fellow countrymen.

01:17President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. also hopes that the bilateral ties of the Philippines and Cambodia will be strengthened. He said that the two countries have a strong foundation.

01:27Sin Sariem of Cambodia assured President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. of his commitment to strengthen the cooperation between Manila and Phnom Penh for the mutual benefit and prosperity of the Filipinos and Cambodians.

01:42The diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Cambodia were formally established on August 20, 1957. As of June 20, 2024, there are 7,500 Filipinos in Cambodia.

01:54Meanwhile, Yulia Oleksandrivna Fediv of Ukraine is preparing for the development of bilateral relations, particularly the collective efforts to promote peace, prosperity, and mutual respect across borders.

02:09At the ceremony in Malacanang, the President asked Ukraine Ambassador Fediv to support the Philippines in its efforts to achieve long-term peace in Ukraine.

02:21The diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Ukraine were established on April 7, 1992. Currently, there are 24 Filipinos living in Ukraine.
