00:00I want to ask you about joining this because I know that this is a game that means a lot to your family.

00:05Yeah.

00:06What was it like playing this game with your dad and what character was he playing?

00:10He was playing Abby. He was playing as Abby always.

00:14You were playing as Abby then?

00:15Yeah, yeah, yeah.

00:16It's such a cool thing to get to share this with my dad and it was a very cool bonding experience

00:23between the two of us because we played the first game together

00:26and then I played the second game with him up until we started playing Abby

00:30and then I kind of bailed because that game is long and I'm a bad gamer.

00:34I'm not a good gamer. I'm not good with the aim and the controller.

00:38Me either.

00:39But yeah, I mean, he was really excited when I got the call about playing Abby.

00:47And so it's always going to be cool to share stuff with my family, but particularly this.

00:52It's a real joy to get to share that with him.

00:55I mean, listen, who needs to be a good gamer when you're a good actor?

00:58You can actually be Abby.

01:00I mean, what was that like? The idea that you had had conversations about playing Ellie,

01:05but what then when you, when Abby came around, did you really get excited about digging into with her?

01:10I mean, it was just everything.

01:12I mean, my first meeting with Neil and Craig was so exciting

01:16and I couldn't believe that they were asking me to play her

01:19and that they put their trust in me to take it on

01:22and it gave me a lot of confidence that they had confidence in me

01:25and that I went into the meeting kind of thinking like,

01:28oh, there's like a couple people and I have to like really sell it in this meeting here

01:33and they were like, no, we want you to.

01:36I was just like, I was just sort of shocked,

01:39but also just so grateful that they wanted me to play her from the jump, really.

01:45And it was, it feels like really such an honor to be a part of this group of people

01:52because everyone's just so sweet and really welcomed me as the newbie with open arms.

01:57Well, it's sweet, but it's also a very badass role.

01:59So I have to ask, what were you naturally good at with the action

02:02and what was a little, what took a little time to get used to?

02:05Oh gosh, what took a time?

02:09I mean, I was really good with like the wire work that I had to do,

02:14maybe the claustrophobia because there is one,

02:16I feel like I can talk about this because it's in the trailer,

02:18but there is one moment that is like a direct sort of exact copy from the game

02:23where I'm getting crushed by a fence that's covered and infected

02:31and I was a bit, I was, it took me a second to get used to like the claustrophobia of that situation.
