00:00If you had your time over, the offer that you offered yesterday, would you have done that a few months earlier to avoid this situation playing out the way it has?
00:06No, we wanted to respect Daley's privacy and we've always done that. As I said to Daley this morning, we respected that you told us and we have not told a soul and that's been in the vault and I'm proud of that as a club.
00:17And I think it's a shock to everyone else but not necessarily us. And we wanted to give him his space and I think we've done that and I don't think it looks like a knee jerk reaction.
00:27If he wants to play in the NRL game, we want him to play it manly. If he chooses to go to another club, then he chooses to go to another club. We've put our best foot forward in what is a very, very strong offer and now it's in Daley's court.
00:39I just want to clarify this point. There's no animosity between Daley and the club. I spoke to Daley before I came to this press conference today. There is no problem with Daley and the club. There's no problem with Daley and me, personally.
00:51There's no problem with Daley and the coach. So Daley's told a few teammates that it will be his last year and it's up to Daley to quantify that or whatever point he wants to but the ball's in his court in regard to the offer. If he is to play an NRL game, we'd love him to play it manly.
