00:00All I want for Christmas this year is for African Americans to receive the reparations that were promised in 1865 immediately.
00:09All I want for Christmas is to humanize the opioid crisis.
00:13Put an end on gun violence.
00:14I want a boatload of common sense that I can pass out to everyone so they can use it to figure out it's okay to get vaccinated against COVID.
00:30All I want for Christmas is for all girls, women, and folks in the LGBTQ community to feel safe and comfortable walking down the streets.
00:41And I hope this Christmas and every Christmas that there are more men who are willing to take some risks and start challenging and interrupting other men's sexism and abusive behavior.
00:51All I want for Christmas is to eliminate all those U.S. fossil fuel subsidies.
00:56That'll free up $650 billion a year.
00:59And just think of what we could give the American people with all that money.
01:02All I want for Christmas is a world of peace.
01:06All I want for Christmas is one fair wage.
01:09Ending the subminimum pay for tipped workers in America.
01:12An equitable society.
01:14A society where people's communities and the planet's well-being are at the center of our priorities.
01:20Because in 2021 we did not see much of this.
01:23All I want for Christmas is over-the-counter abortion pills.
01:27For all the beautiful children of the world to love their Afro hair.
01:32To at least understand why we have indigenous women and children and elderly and men, two-spirit, disappearing, who are being abducted and are missing, and then come to find they were murdered.
01:48And understanding why the criminal justice system continues to fail them.
01:53Dear Santa, guess what Big Pharma and the global leaders have been doing?
01:58They've been making millions off the backs of innocent people by pushing out the most addictive chemical to man.
02:04While we're all sitting back ashamed to talk about this, ashamed to cry about this on the streets.
02:09I wish I could write a letter to Santa and show him all the victims that, all the kids, innocent kids that have been, ended up dying because of gun violence.
02:23Because our politicians have not been able to find the courage to fight back a gun industry that is killing us.
02:33I don't want a holiday. I don't want a stimulus check.
02:37I would like 40 acres and a mule with 200 years of interest.
02:41Every day I get messages from folks who experience street harassment and they tell me how afraid they are to go outside, how they often change what they're wearing or when they leave the house because of their fear of harassment.
02:55I believe that everyone should be safe and comfortable walking down the street.
03:00Domestic and sexual violence and all forms of gender based violence are some of the biggest problems we have in our whole species all over the world.
03:07And women's leadership has been incredible in addressing it.
03:09But you know what? There haven't been enough men who have stood up and stood with those women who are advocating for justice and fairness and nonviolence.
03:20I mean, we took the polio vaccine, the measles vaccine, the mumps vaccine, the rubella vaccine, the HPV vaccine.
03:27We're still here. Those diseases are gone.
03:31Why not use that common sense to get rid of COVID once and for all?
03:35I want the children of the world for Christmas to create a canvas and paint it worldwide of many crowns.
03:44The world where the truth is not trivial, where we all can live together within our differences, the world where we have less aggressivity.
03:52Santa, please, where are you?
03:54So what's the delay, Santa?
03:56In 2022, Santa, I want to see a society based on fairness and rights, one based on the principles of equity.
04:03And then hopefully one day we'll, you know, we'll put this scourge behind us.
04:07Just a world where we accept one another.
04:10So that everyone can thrive and exist contently in the world.
04:15That's what I want for Christmas. And I want you to have a merry one.
04:18What do you say?
