00:00I do find in the horror genre that you are given more opportunities to show complex characters.
00:05It's just an opportunity to be someone that doesn't have to rely on a man to save them or bring them happiness.
00:09The world is full of terrible people.
00:30I don't pick projects based on the genre, I pick them based on the characters.
00:34And it's happened to be that in this genre, horror, thriller, whatever you want to call it, there are good female characters.
00:41There are characters that have different levels of emotion and there's so much more going on than just like, oh, who am I going to be dating?
00:49I find that that's appealing. I want to play someone who cares about themselves and wants to figure themselves out.
00:55I genuinely do not like the dark. I do not like being alone in the dark. I do not like nighttime.
01:05I guess it scares me because I just, I don't like when I can't see something. I don't like the unknown.
01:12Like I hate the ocean. I do not like the idea of the big, vast open water. I hate it.
01:17But, you know, I don't think I have any fears where it's like paralyzing, where I can't, I can't handle it.
