00:00During the lockdown, it becomes difficult to find eggs and flour, so today I'm going to show you how you can make a super good chocolate mousse without eggs and without flour.
00:19A dozen eggs from intensive farming, that's more than two kilos of CO2.
00:25So it's worth it, even if you're not vegan, even if you don't feel like going that far, to make a little effort and try to make this little chocolate mousse, for example.
00:33We're going to whip it up, but be careful, we're keeping a little bit of liquid, about two or three tablespoons, to melt the chocolate.
01:03It starts to whip up, it's quite impressive, for those who don't know, it really looks like egg whites.
01:19It's a dessert that's perfect for allergies to eggs, vegans, but also radins, because it really costs less than eggs, and we're obviously going to be able to use chickpeas to make a lot of other recipes.
01:34I think that's pretty good.
01:39When you whip up the chickpea water in snow, it's called aquafaba, chickpea water, you can also make macaroons with it, you can make meringue, you can do everything you can with normal water, that's good to know.
01:52The chocolate comes from far away, so it has a fairly high ecological impact, so we obviously favor organic chocolate, and at least from fair trade.
02:22There you go, that's the power we're going to have.
02:50So now it's good, it's been in the fridge for a while, it's perfect, it holds together, as you can see.
03:18It's super good.
03:47It really looks like a normal chocolate mousse, but it's even lighter, and you don't taste the chickpea at all.
03:54If you like sugar, I recommend you add a little, or add a little agave syrup or honey afterwards.
