00:00Thank you very much.
00:15So we have four types of cakes, wings, Louisiana, spicy korea, with our new hot honey tenders
00:24and wing stock fries with three honey mustard dips.
00:28Wow, looking forward to it, brilliant, thank you very much.
00:30Hi, I'm Mark Dunford from Sussex World and I'm here at Wing Stop in Crawley to try out a new flavour they have introduced.
00:38So it's the first new flavour they've introduced since they came to the UK in 2018 and it's the hot honey glaze.
00:44So I'm giving those out, I've got some chicken tenders here, some chicken tenders with the hot honey glaze on.
00:51And I'm going to give them a go, see what it's like. On the chart, on the menu, it's at the top of the medium to hot scale.
01:00So it's supposed to be sweet and fiery I believe, so I'm looking forward to them.
01:05So I'm going to give them a go, let you know what I think.
01:22The fieriness of them does hit you quite quickly.
01:28I have to back up, it's definitely at the top end of the heat, the hotness of the sauce compared to the other flavours they've got.
01:38Jerome said to me that he thinks it's actually hotter than the original flavouring that they've got at Wing Stop,
01:45which on the menu is higher than the hot honey glaze.
01:49I can definitely feel the heat hitting the back of my throat and it's staying there and warming the mouth.
01:56But really tasty, really sweet and I'm looking forward to eating the rest of them.
02:01I've also got some Korean BBQ chicken wings and some Louisiana rub chicken wings as well.
02:07So I'm going to work my way through them and then at the end I'll give you a full rundown of what I thought of it.
02:18So I'm just at the end of finishing my third chicken tender with the hot and honey glaze, a new flavour from Wing Stop.
02:39And you can sense my mouth is burning quite a bit.
02:44I'm going to have to get another drink in a second but the flavour is really nice and really sweet.
02:53But then the fieriness of it really hits you and my tongue is getting a little bit numb in there actually.
03:00I'm not someone with a high tolerance for spiciness but I'm always willing to give something a go.
03:07But this is really tasty, really nice but I think three chicken tenders is more than I can handle.
03:15But it could be a great challenge for someone to come through and give it a go if they think they've got really high tolerance.
03:25Sorry I've got to have another drink there to calm down my tongue.
03:29But it's really nice, really flavoursome.
03:34And just speaking to Jerome the manager again, he said it is definitely wrong on the rankings he thinks.
03:40It's the fourth one down on the list for heatness, hotness and spiciness.
03:48It needs to go one higher, it needs to go above the original.
03:51But really tasty and worth a go if you're thinking of popping down to Wing Stop.
03:55So I've just finished my meal at Wing Stop where I've tried the new hot honey glaze.
03:59And I have to say it is really nice but I'm not sure I could handle it.
04:03My mouth went a little bit numb, especially my tongue after eating the three chicken tenders with that hot honey glaze on.
04:10So my feedback to Wing Stop, get it a little bit higher on your chart.
04:14So really nice, they've given me some churros to take home so I'm going to go and enjoy those.
04:19But yeah, try out the hot honey glaze flavour and let us know what you think.
04:24It would be interesting to know with people with a higher tolerance of spiciness whether they can handle it as much as I couldn't.
04:31So yeah, let us know your feedback.
