Over 1.6 Million vehicles expected to hit roads in Selangor during Hari Raya

Anticipating a significant movement of travellers, Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said approximately 1.6 million vehicles will traverse the state during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations.   He said 717 law enforcement personnel will be deployed to cover  Op Lancar, from March 23 to April 6 and Op Selamat, from March 29 to April 3, to ensure smooth and safe holiday travel. 00:00Ops Selamat 24 will start on March 29, 2025 until April 3, 2025 for six days.

00:15Meanwhile, Ops Lancar will start on March 23 until April 6, 2025.

00:23The number of forces involved in this operation is 71 police officers and 646 low-ranking police officers.

00:35As many as 7 fast-track operations have been set up and as many as 18 Ops Lancar locations in Selangor will be carried out.
