00:00The purpose of our gathering today is to launch the safety office, which will start on January 28 to February 2, 2025, and still maintain the same theme, home safe, safe to the destination.
00:23So, our goal is, other than strengthening power, we also prioritize advocacy.
00:30This is our goal. So, what does this mean?
00:33This, clearly, is not our goal to sue. No.
00:38Our goal is to ensure that the road users are wise and comply with the road laws for their own safety.
00:47Because responsibility is not only the responsibility of the consumer.
00:50The responsibility of safety is the responsibility of everyone.
00:55So, I want to emphasize two aspects.
00:58Consider the feelings on the road.
01:01Other than that, make sure the vehicle used has gone through the safety process.
01:08If you need to send a service, make sure it is sent before driving.
01:13Other than that, we will also focus on safety from a crime prevention point of view.
01:20For that, the Police Traffic Police Department has organized a movement of 1,767 people, including 208 officers and 1,559 members, covering various aspects of the task.
01:38Traffic, road safety, house safety, and all aspects.
01:45This includes the tasks that will be carried out by regional police chiefs under their respective departments.
01:54Other than that, there are only 57 officers and 579 members who will be in charge of BSI, KESAP, the main entrance route.
02:07Other than that, we are also aware of 49 hotspot locations.
02:12These are locations where accidents often occur.
02:15And 30 black spot locations.
02:18These are locations where accidents often occur.
02:21These locations are the result of previous experiences.
02:26We know the sand, we do the study, we collect the statistics, and we get the locations.
02:36We estimate a 10-15% increase.
02:39I understand 80-100,000.
02:44Because Johor is unique in that, other than the roads and highways, we also have to focus on BSI and KESAP.
02:52There will be floods there as well.
02:55People will come and go.
02:57So, the task will increase.
03:00With the help of my colleagues, KESAP, PLAS, LLM, I think we won't have any problems.
03:07Other than that, I would like to take this opportunity to advise the people who are celebrating the New Year,
03:15to follow the existing laws so that everyone can celebrate in a safe environment.
03:23Do not do things that are prohibited.
