00:00The first time I remember meeting you was at the ACM's early in the 90s when
00:07you were nominated for a new female vocalist and after the award show we
00:12went to the party and I sat I came by and sat with you and your mom and you
00:18had on a silver dress and I sat there with you and I thought I love her
00:23already she's sitting with her mom because my mom and I were real close
00:26just like you and your mom and your dry wit a sense of humor won my heart and I
00:34said where you from she said Georgia and I said okay I like you already then you
00:38were funny and then the years just kept going by and we got to hang out and be
00:44with each other we've gotten to sing together and have dinners together and
00:48you taught me a lot about cooking on your cooking show and she was like oh
00:54poor little Reba I'm gonna help her learn how to cook and I appreciated
01:00that more than you know but our friendship throughout the years means
01:04the world to me because girls out on the road need a buddy and we are in the
01:11country music business where girls stick together we have fun together we
01:16complain and gripe and to each other because you can't do that with anybody
01:21else they nobody else understands so congratulations on this today I'm
01:26thrilled to pieces for you and and it is my turn to cook at the house when all we
01:32have our little girl gathering so y'all bring food and help me out okay I love
01:38you with all my heart congratulations
