A farmer has transformed an old RAF bombing range tower into a unique holiday stay near Skegness, Lincolnshire.

Will Roughton, 47, turned the five-storey tower at RAF Wainfleet into accommodation with 360-degree coastal views.

The site also offers stays in tanks, helicopters, and military vehicles. Roughton, a sixth-generation farmer, began converting the property in 2014 to diversify his business.

The dog-friendly tower sleeps six guests for around £250 a night and includes modern amenities such as en-suite bathrooms and a private hot tub.

00:00I'm Will and this is my RAF tower. We bought this off the Ministry of Defence in 2014 and
00:19have since spent our time converting it into holiday lets to make quite unusual, unique
00:24accommodation. It took us about five years to get to this stage and then once we'd finished
00:31this site we bought ourselves a helicopter and then an aeroplane to convert into glamping
00:36pods and after that we decided to carry on expanding and have a fishing lake a mile down
00:43the road on the farm where we've bought other various things such as a combine harvester,
00:48another helicopter, a tank, a fire engine and an army ambulance, all of which are now
00:53glamping pods.
