00:10The Philippine Coast Guard or PCG decided that the biggest challenge that the government is facing
00:17in defending the West Philippine Sea is the spreading of false information.
00:23PCG West Philippine Sea spokesperson Commodore J. Tristan D'Ariella gave the D.N.A.
00:28that it is important to provide the right information to the citizens
00:33so that the patriotism of every Filipino can flourish.
00:37Because of this, this is the only way for the country to be united
00:42and to be more successful in the fight against China's aggression.
00:47In addition, the National Youth Commission or NYC is united in spreading the right information
00:54about the West Philippine Sea, especially to the youth.
00:58According to NYC Assistant Secretary Carl Joseph Legaspi,
01:03the agency is actively working on initiatives that will further expand the knowledge of the youth on this issue.
01:10In addition, NYC has a commitment to the groups that may be approached,
01:15particularly the youth leaders from the Sangguniang Kabataan and Local Youth Development Office
01:22to ensure that the right information about the West Philippine Sea can reach more youth across the country.
01:31As part of this campaign, the Philippine Information Agency joined forces with PCG and NYC
01:39to create the Kilos Kabataan for the West Philippine Sea Forum at Tarlac State University.
01:46The agency aims to bring this initiative to all regions of the country.
