00:00Aligned with the commitment of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to improving healthcare services
00:05before the end of 2024, the palace has announced the expansion of PhilHealth benefits for its
00:11members.
00:12The government has introduced enhanced benefit packages for various medical conditions, ensuring
00:17greater healthcare coverage for Filipinos.
00:20Aside from the enhanced benefit packages, the palace also announced the removal of the
00:2545-day benefit limit on hospital confinement, which previously capped a member's hospitalization
00:32coverage within a year.
00:33With this revision, PhilHealth members can now access extended medical care without the
00:39previous restrictions, providing financial relief and improved healthcare accessibility.
00:45PhilHealth has now removed the 45-day benefit limit to ensure that the agency's services
00:52remain unhindered.
00:54According to PhilHealth, many services require more than 45 days of coverage, such as hemodialysis.
