00:00PhilHealth has already listed the limitations of its benefits, especially for those with severe symptoms.

00:06In addition, the Food and Drug Administration also issued a list of medicines that are exempted from the 12% value-added tax.

00:44She is very happy to know that the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation of PhilHealth has already listed the limitations of its benefits, including hemodialysis.

01:01Joselina is the only member of PhilHealth who will benefit from the 45-day benefit limit.

01:08Under this, there is no limitation and patients will continue to receive health services, especially those with severe symptoms or in chronic conditions.

01:20Under the instructions of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., the PhilHealth operation should not be stopped.

01:26The benefits should reach every Filipino.

01:30That is the reason why the 45-day benefit limit has already been lifted.

01:35For all kinds of diseases, there is no longer a 45-day benefit limit.

01:40The good news is that all conditions or diseases seem to be changing.

01:45But according to the agency, it still needs to go through the right process and it still needs to comply with the medical and treatment plan of the patient.

01:54The health facilities will also be strictly monitored according to the clinical standards and reimbursement rules.

02:34These include 12 medicines for cholesterol, 3 for diabetes, and 1 for hypertension and mental illnesses.

02:43These are just an addition to the more than 2,000 medicines that were previously exempted under Republic Act No. 10963 or the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion or TRAIN Act

02:56and RA-11-534 or the Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentive for Enterprises or CREATE Act.

03:02Its purpose is to make affordable medicines for all Filipinos.
