00:04A man in Tondo, Manila was hostaged by his brother

00:08because he did not fulfill his wish.

00:21This 31-year-old man was jailed after he was stabbed by a knife and was hostaged.

00:27His brother was arrested on Monday in Tondo, Manila.

00:30In a live video posted online, the suspect saw the knife in the victim's hand.

00:35He was afraid that the police would find the victim's car

00:39and forcefully pulled him into the corner.

00:42The hostage lasted for almost 30 minutes.

00:46The suspect only found out when his mother arrived.

00:49Based on the investigation of MPD Station 2,

00:51the commotion was caused by the simple will of the brother.

00:56The root of the problem was that the victim did not give the suspect his will.

01:01We found out that the suspect had a grudge against his younger brother

01:13because he wanted to bring his brother to the house where he lived.

01:22Because his brother did not agree,

01:25and because his brother's wife was in the hospital,

01:31he was pulled by his brother.

01:33The suspect also admitted to the police that he was using illegal drugs.

01:38He was even released from prison in 2016 because of various cases.
