00:00The number of cases of rabies in the Philippines is low in the first quarter of 2025 according to Radyo Pilipinas.
00:07Health Spokesperson Assistant Secretary Albert Domingo said that 55 cases were reported from January 1 to March 1.
00:17That's 39% lower than the 90 cases reported last year at the same time.
00:24Even though the number of cases is high, the public should not be complacent, especially if rabies is fatal.

00:58If we compare the whole year of 2024, we recorded 426 cases, which is higher than the year 2020, which was only 235 cases.
