00:15After being crowned as the leader of the Philippine Olympic Committee,
00:21Abraham Bambol Tolentino is back to work.
00:25That's because the Philippines will host a lot of international competitions
00:31under his next term.
00:34In an exclusive interview with the sports banter of PTV Sports,
00:38the POC President laid out the events that should be anticipated for the next years.
00:44These include the competitions in 2025,
00:47such as Harbin Asian Winter Games and Asian Youth Games held in China,
00:53as well as the Olympic Esports Series in Saudi Arabia,
00:57Southeast Asian Games in Thailand,
00:59and the possible postponement of the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games or IMAG in Saudi Arabia.
01:06In January, let's roll our sleeves and first start the business.
01:12Focus on those international competitions.
01:16In 2026, the country will host the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics in Italy
01:23and the 20th Asian Games held in Nagoya, Japan.
01:28Tolentino promised the leaders of the national sports associations
01:33that he will take care of the trust given to him as the leader of the POC.
