00:00Let's find out the prices of the main items to be bought this coming Tuesday by Denise Osorio, live. Denise?

00:09Audrey, at the moment, everyone is monitoring the prices of onions, rice, and pork in the market,

00:17aside from the maximum suggested retail price, or MSRP, of imported rice,

00:22and the issue of African Swine Fever, or ASF, in pigs.

00:27Army Worms in onions, rice, and pork are also being sold.

00:32This is a new trend, a change in prices.

00:36Here in Visayas Avenue, Wet and Dry Market,

00:39it is noteworthy that the MSRP of the Department of Agriculture in imported rice follows.

00:47Usually, specialty rice will exceed Php 58 per kilo,

00:52such as red rice and Japanese rice.

00:55For pork, it is Php 400 per kilo of pork and pork chop,

01:00while Php 450 per kilo of pork belly.

01:05And one of our main items, onions,

01:08even if its price is higher in Balintawak Market,

01:11its price is lower here.

01:14The red onions used to be Php 180 per kilo,

01:17now it is Php 160 per kilo.

01:21While the white onions used to be Php 10 per kilo,

01:24it used to be Php 130 per kilo,

01:27now it is just Php 120 per kilo.

01:30Audrey, our countrymen are slowly feeling the price of rice decrease,

01:36after the D.A. issued the MSRP on January 20.

01:42Also, our consumers should be aware that it is safe to buy and eat fresh and local pork,

01:51and the ASF is not contagious from animals to humans.
