00:23Welcome dear viewers, I would like to welcome you to Bajme-ul-Ulema.
00:28And the renowned Ulema of Pakistan, Mufti Ahsan Naveed Niazi,
00:33Prof. Dr. Atif Aslam Rao, Allama Hafiz Ahmed Raza Yusuf are with us.
00:37And today's topic is success.
00:39We have made its standard something else.
00:41Today we want to know that is the standard of success
00:45that a person should be financially stable
00:48or he should have money, he should have a contact list
00:51and he should have a lot of resources in the world
00:55of earning, income, he should be a big businessman.
00:58We have considered this as success.
01:00And Maghrib is also giving the concept of success to this.
01:03A lot of Aghiyars are coming to us with this philosophy.
01:07And today through Dastavezi films,
01:10they have also put us in short reels.
01:13In that also it is explained that success is that
01:15when someone met a very rich man
01:18and he made him rich, this is success.
01:21So what is the concept of success in the light of Quran and Sunnah?
01:24In the light of Quran and Hadith, who is successful in the sight of Allah?
01:27We will understand that to talk about success.
01:30I will start with Mufti Ahsan Naveed Niazi.
01:32In the light of Quran and Sunnah, what is success?
01:35In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.
01:37Peace and blessings of Allah be upon His Beloved, Muhammad and his family and companions.
01:40People nowadays take success as having a lot of bank balance,
01:43having a lot of wealth and money,
01:45having a lot of love, having a high rank,
01:47having PR, having public relations,
01:50people generally take success as this.
01:53However, this is not the standard of success,
01:56this is not the merit of success.
01:58When we talk about success in the light of Quran and Sunnah,
02:01in many places, with the word Falah,
02:03some say Tuflihun, some say Yuflihun,
02:05some say Aflaha, some say Faza,
02:07some say Faiz, some say Faizun.
02:09In different ways, it is explained who is successful.
02:12Allah Almighty says in Surah Al-Ahzab,
02:14Allah Almighty says in Surah Al-Ahzab,
02:19Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger,
02:21he has attained great success.
02:23So, what is the standard of success?
02:25Allah Almighty has told us that
02:27we have to obey Allah and His Messenger.
02:29Now, we have to obey Allah and His Messenger in every matter.
02:32Some people think that in the mosque,
02:34Allah and His Messenger are obeyed,
02:36but in the market, Allah and His Messenger are not obeyed.
02:38Whether it is a mosque or a market,
02:40whether it is a market or a parliament,
02:43we have to obey Allah and His Messenger.
02:45Our religion is the complete code of life.
02:47It is the complete code of life.
02:49It guides us in every aspect of life.
02:51So, in every aspect of life,
02:53we have to obey Allah and His Messenger.
02:55We have to follow the instructions,
02:57the guidance, the directions
02:59given by Allah and His Messenger.
03:01Then, we will be successful.
03:03And the obedience of religion
03:05to Allah and His Messenger,
03:07the guidance of Allah and His Messenger,
03:09includes the success of the world,
03:11and Allah's remembrance
03:13has to be done in abundance.
03:15Allah says,
03:17Surah Al-Jumu'ah
03:19Remember Allah in abundance
03:21so that you may be successful.
03:23Whoever remembers Allah in abundance,
03:25will be successful.
03:27Then, Allah says,
03:29Surah Al-Nafs
03:31Surah Al-A'la
03:33The one who purifies his soul
03:35is successful.
03:37In Surah Al-A'la.
03:40Surah Al-Hasham
03:42The one who purifies his soul
03:44is successful.
03:46The one who purifies his soul
03:48is unsuccessful.
03:50The one who hides his soul
03:52in filth,
03:54in disobedience,
03:56is unsuccessful.
03:58Then, Allah says,
04:00O believers,
04:02turn to Allah in abundance
04:04so that you may be successful.
04:06Meaning,
04:08doing good deeds,
04:10believing in Allah,
04:12remembering Allah,
04:14obeying Allah and His Messenger,
04:16fulfilling the rights of Allah,
04:18and the rights of mankind.
04:20This is the standard of true success.
04:22Masha'Allah.
04:24How do you see this standard?
04:26The bank balance,
04:28the rich man,
04:30the car,
04:32the house.
04:34How do you see this standard of success?
04:37When we talk about success,
04:39it can be divided into two categories.
04:41One is partial success
04:43and the other is total success.
04:45Partial success is
04:47when a student of knowledge
04:49works hard for an exam
04:51and is successful in one field.
04:53He is looking for a job
04:55and gets a good job,
04:57gets an increment,
04:59gets an award,
05:01and so on.
05:03This is called partial success.
05:05The concept of partial success
05:07is vast and comprehensive.
05:09This is the kind of success
05:11that is found in every field of life
05:13and is seen by man
05:15in the hereafter.
05:17This is the kind of success
05:19that Allah has given
05:21and who knows his creation
05:23better than Allah?
05:25Who knows his creation
05:27better than Allah?
05:29The kind of success
05:31that Allah has given
05:34is the kind of success
05:36that Allah has given
05:38in this world and in the hereafter.
05:40Having a good bank balance,
05:42having a good financial status,
05:44having a good job,
05:46or having a lot of
05:48luxuries in life
05:50is not a bad thing.
05:52It becomes bad
05:54when it separates
05:56man from humanity
05:58and Allah.
06:00O you who believe,
06:02let not your wealth and your children
06:04make you heedless of Allah's remembrance.
06:06O you who believe,
06:08let not your wealth and your children
06:10make you heedless of Allah's remembrance.
06:12So those who think that
06:14a successful bank balance
06:16is wealth and money,
06:18see that not every wealthy person
06:20is happy.
06:22In fact, at times,
06:24with wealth and money
06:26and so many other problems
06:29like not being in a good relationship
06:31with his wife,
06:33mental disorder,
06:35and so many other things,
06:37it does not mean that
06:39wealth alone is not successful.
06:41If there is wealth
06:43and peace of mind
06:45that I am spending it
06:47according to the command of Allah,
06:49following the example of
06:51the Prophet,
06:53and preparing for the hereafter
06:55with the world,
06:57I would like to ask you
06:59if religious success
07:01is so important
07:03for worldly loss
07:05and worldly success
07:07is based on religious loss?
07:09Can't both successes
07:11be combined together?
07:13There is a break in between
07:15and you have to answer it.
07:17See you after the break.
07:27No one will sleep hungry
07:29in this holy month.
07:31Help the poor
07:33if you can.
07:48Welcome back.
07:50Mr. Allama,
07:52I asked a question
07:54before the break.
07:57Religious success
07:59is based on religious success.
08:01Allah said in Surah Al-Asr,
08:13True success
08:15is based on religious success.
08:17But the question is
08:19if worldly loss
08:21is so important
08:23for religious success?
08:25For example,
08:27what is the standard
08:29of worldly success
08:31in our country?
08:33Financial status.
08:35This is the same money
08:37that one pays zakat with.
08:39This is the same money
08:41that one pays hajj with.
08:43If this is not the case,
08:45then there is no zakat
08:47or hajj.
08:49Isn't this the standard
08:51of worldly success?
08:54We are able to act
08:56on these standards.
08:58Allah said in a verse,
09:08When Allah
09:10guided Qarun,
09:12Allah said,
09:18Seek the home of the hereafter
09:20from what Allah has given you.
09:24But don't forget your world.
09:26But how not to forget,
09:32that when you want to seek the world,
09:34don't exceed it.
09:36Don't go beyond it.
09:38Don't hold on to it.
09:40You see, in the hadith of
09:42Prophet Muhammad,
09:44Allah said,
09:48A good wife,
09:50a good neighbor,
09:52a good house,
09:54and a good car.
09:56How will you get a good house
09:58and a good car?
10:00You will get it with money.
10:02It is possible to accumulate
10:04worldly and religious success.
10:06But if your materialistic success
10:08is becoming a hindrance
10:10to your spiritual success,
10:12then it is a sign of danger for you.
10:14Absolutely right.
10:16Sorry to say,
10:18these days,
10:21Allah is working for His Messenger.
10:23We are also working for Allah and His Messenger.
10:25So don't give him money.
10:27Take Allah's work from him.
10:29This is also a problem with us.
10:31Our thinking has become
10:33that whatever the world is giving you,
10:35fill it.
10:37Whatever the hereafter is giving you,
10:39deprive it.
10:41It is not his right
10:43that his children should get a good education
10:45and his life should be good.
10:47When we have made this standard ourselves,
10:49we have seen that
10:51to become religious,
10:53worldly requirements
10:55have to be compromised.
10:57To become religious,
10:59as far as worldly requirements
11:01are concerned,
11:03there is a training period.
11:05In the training period,
11:07you have to sacrifice a lot of things.
11:09You have to sacrifice time
11:11and leave a lot of desires.
11:13In the training period,
11:15wherever you are getting education
11:18you have to make sacrifices.
11:20Now I will talk about
11:22to become religious,
11:24to become religious,
11:26to forget worldly requirements
11:28is not the right way.
11:30The balance between religion
11:32and the world has been taught to us.
11:34Syedna Usman bin Affan
11:36had wealth and wealth.
11:38He was called rich.
11:40Syedna Abdur Rahman bin Auf
11:42had wealth and wealth.
11:44Imam Yadav Hanifa Rahimahullah
11:46had wealth and wealth.
11:48Abdul Qadir Jilani
11:50had wealth and wealth.
11:52The balance between religion
11:54and the world was beautiful.
11:56These are our role models.
11:58These are the elders of religion.
12:00These are the leaders of Islam.
12:02These are our personalities.
12:04They have kept balance and harmony.
12:06We have to adopt it.
12:08Generally,
12:10the compensation of wealth
12:12is not in the form of wealth.
12:15It is mentioned in the Holy Quran
12:17and in the Sunnah
12:19that if you are heedless of the hereafter,
12:21if you are heedless of Allah
12:23and if you are not keeping
12:25the distinction between
12:27halal and haram,
12:29then this is also compensation.
12:31If you are not heedless of Allah,
12:33then it is compensation.
12:35It is also called charity.
12:37It is called charity in the Quran.
12:39Sacrificing worldly requirements
12:41is his own choice.
12:43He does not want to do any work.
12:45He is doing religious work
12:47but he does not want
12:49to do any business.
12:51He can do it in a good way
12:53but he is doing it on his own.
12:55It is his own choice.
12:57It is not the command of Allah
12:59or the request of Allah
13:01to sacrifice worldly requirements.
13:03If worldly requirements
13:05are haram means,
13:07then it is understood
13:09that he will have to sacrifice.
13:12It is a hindrance in your religious
13:14success and in your other
13:16successes.
13:18Before your question,
13:20you said that there are
13:22people who serve the mosque,
13:24they are the imam,
13:26they are the muazzin,
13:28they are the servants of the mosque.
13:30They are paying less than
13:32the driver's salary.
13:34It should not be like this.
13:36Religious institutions should
13:38serve them in the same way
13:40I keep saying a lot
13:42that I am spending my life
13:44for Allah and his messenger.
13:46I am doing business for them.
13:48It is fine if I do it
13:50but my standard should be
13:52that I make the life of those
13:54who are busy in the affairs
13:56of Allah and his messenger better
13:58so that they can help in a better
14:00way.
14:02Dr. Atif Aslam Rao is sitting
14:04with us.
14:06Every person is running
14:09for success.
14:11Both of them have increased
14:13their speed.
14:15What is the right way
14:17of success?
14:19How can we truly
14:21access it?
14:23Success is found
14:25naturally in every person
14:27and no person wants
14:29to be unsuccessful
14:31and some people
14:33try for success
14:35and some just dream
14:37of becoming successful
14:39and people make them ideal.
14:41Religiously speaking,
14:43what is the concept
14:45of success?
14:47The concept of success is
14:49what Prophet Muhammad
14:51told people right after
14:53the advent of Prophet Muhammad
14:55and told them to accept
14:57the oneness of Allah and
14:59become successful.
15:01Prophet Muhammad
15:03made the companions
15:06learn the attributes of Allah
15:08and the knowledge
15:10of Allah.
15:12Along with that,
15:14Prophet Muhammad
15:16taught them how to
15:18live their lives.
15:20Prophet Muhammad
15:22invited people to
15:24the religion of Allah
15:26and he also
15:28started a business
15:30to run his household.
15:32Prophet Muhammad
15:34is a role model for us.
15:36Prophet Muhammad
15:38said that
15:40do your work
15:42in such a way
15:44that your focus
15:46is on the hereafter
15:48and that Allah
15:50will answer you.
15:52If a person
15:54runs after the sorrows
15:56of the world,
15:58Allah will tire him
16:00and if he wants
16:02to fulfill the needs
16:04of the world,
16:06Allah will make it easy for him.
16:08The companions
16:10did big business
16:12and had a good lifestyle
16:14but when Prophet Muhammad
16:16invited people
16:18to the religion of Allah
16:20and said that religion
16:22needs your wealth,
16:24Sayyidina Siddiq-e-Akbar
16:26brought all the things
16:28of his house.
16:30Uthman-e-Ghareen
16:32invited people
16:34and today is the 17th Ramadhan
16:36which is the day of Ghazwa-e-Badr.
16:38We can see death
16:40but Prophet Muhammad
16:42introduced himself
16:44and said
16:46I will sacrifice my life
16:48for you.
16:50I will sacrifice my life
16:52for you.
16:54Amazing!
16:56You can call us
16:58and ask your questions.
17:00Mufti Hassan Naveed Niazi
17:02will answer your live telephone calls.
17:04Today is the day of
17:06Umm-ul-Mumineen Sayyida Ayesha
17:08Siddiq-e-Akbar.
17:10Umm-ul-Mumineen
17:12Umm-ul-Mumineen

17:24Umm-ul-Mumineen
17:26Umm-ul-Mumineen
17:28Umm-ul-Mumineen
17:30Uhm-ul-Mumineen
17:32Umm-ul-Mumineen
17:34Umm-ul-Mumineen
17:36Uhm-ul-Mumineen
17:38Umm-ul-Mumineen
17:46Welcome dear viewers
17:48For Bazaar-ul-Ulama
17:50Mr. Mufti Hassan Naveed Niazi
17:52Dr. Attif Aslam Rao
17:54Hafiz Ahmed Raza Yusuf is our guest and today we are discussing the topic of success
17:59and before the break, Hazrat sahib was saying something about success
18:06and I would like to ask Hafiz Ahmed Raza Yusuf sahib something
18:10When Hazrat Ali was martyred, what were your words?
18:13People heard at the time of martyrdom that by God, I have been successful
18:17So what is meant by this success?
18:19Please shed some light on this
18:21In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
18:22In Surah Al-Ahzab, Allah the Almighty has stated the standards of success
18:29The last condition is that
18:33Those who are patient are successful
18:38So if we look at Hazrat Ali's personality
18:42On one side is his courage, on the other side is his generosity
18:46On one side is his jurisprudence
18:48On the other side, we see that he has endured a lot of trials and tribulations
18:55And he has been very patient
18:57If we look at his entire period of Khilafat, and if we look at other matters
19:00We can see how he has always stood up for Islam and for the truth
19:06And the Quran says
19:14That we will test you with these things
19:16And those who are patient, there is good news for them
19:20And what is that good news?
19:21That Allah the Almighty will bestow His mercy on them
19:24And Hazrat Sheikh Junaid Baghdadi says
19:32That our Sheikh, for the sake of the hereafter, for the sake of tolerating the trials and tribulations
19:38Hazrat Ali is a generous person
19:41For the sake of the hereafter, he has endured a lot of tribulations
19:44And the way you have been patient with him, you have been steadfast
19:49So it was necessary for you to say that
19:51I swear by the Lord of the Ka'bah, I have been successful
19:53And you have certainly been successful
19:56Yes, what is the matter?
19:58What is the pride?
19:59That when his hands tremble, the universe trembles
20:05Whenever I write, I write this
20:07Master of the universe, when there is another like you, the universe brings
20:12When there is another like you, the universe brings
20:14We have callers with us
20:15We will include questions
20:16Mufti Hassan Naveed Niazi will give the answers to your Fiqh and Shari'ah questions
20:20Yes, Assalamualaikum
20:21Assalamualaikum Warahmatullah
20:24Waalaikumussalam Warahmatullah
20:25Yes, what is the question, sister?
20:26I have two questions, the first question is
20:29I just recited one verse of Surah Fatiha that I remembered, I did not recite Sana
20:33And then I recited Sana and then I recited Fatiha, so what is the order of the judge in the end?
20:37Absolutely right, God willing, we will tell
20:39My second question is
20:41If the Ummah of Muhammad or the Ummah of the government is said in such words, then is it still obligatory to recite Surah Fatiha?
20:48Okay, the Ummah of Muhammad or the Ummah of the government
20:51The word of the government should be said, the word of the Prophet should be said
20:54This is also a question
20:55Is it okay to recite Surah Fatiha or should it be recited?
20:57Is it obligatory or not?
20:58Okay, one more caller is with us
20:59Assalamualaikum
21:00Assalamualaikum
21:01Absolutely right
21:02Yes, what is your question?
21:04Assalamualaikum
21:05Yes, Waalaikumussalam
21:06What is your question?
21:07My question to the Mufti is that the Tashahud that we recite in Salat
21:12Tashahud
21:13Yes
21:14The Tashahud that we recite, we found it in the Miraj, the Prophet found it in the Miraj
21:19But when we say Assalamualaikum to the Prophets
21:23Then how should we recite it?
21:26Does it mean that the Prophet is listening to us or should we give a brief explanation?
21:30And my second question is that
21:33These children call their parents Mama Baba instead of Ami Abu
21:38Is it right to say this or not?
21:40Is it right to say Mama Baba instead of Ami Abu or not?
21:44We will definitely tell
21:45InshaAllah
21:46Assalamualaikum
21:47Our attention should be on the Prophets
21:50One more caller is with us

21:57Yes, what is your question?
21:59My question is that
22:01I wanted to ask the Mufti about Zakat
22:04Yes, go ahead
22:05For example, my mother's jewellery
22:08She gave it to her granddaughters
22:11That you can keep it
22:13When she grows up, give it to her
22:15My mother has passed away
22:17I have it with me
22:18So I want to know
22:19Do I have to give Zakat on it or not?
22:22What is the age of your daughters?
22:24My daughter is 26 years old
22:27And how old is Sona?
22:29Sona?
22:30Any idea?
22:31The things she wears
22:33Her bangles

23:45and may Allah Almighty bless your memory
23:47Not only this
23:48He remembers the couplets of the world
23:50MashaAllah
23:51Dr. Adil-Muslim Rao Sahib
23:53Hazrat Umm-ul-Mu'mineen
23:54Hazrat-e-Sayyiduna Ayesha Siddiqa
23:56May Allah Almighty bless her
23:58and I would like to take a message from
24:00Hazrat-e-Allama Sahib
24:02and also from you
24:03regarding Sahib-e-Badr
24:04Hazrat-e-Ayesha Siddiqa
24:05May Allah Almighty bless her
24:06She is fortunate
24:07that in her chamber
24:09Huzoor-Alaihi-Salaatu-Wa-Salaam
24:10passed away
24:11She herself says
24:12that at the last moment
24:13when she needed a miswak
24:14I gave her the miswak
24:15by pressing it in my mouth
24:18and Huzoor-Alaihi-Salaatu-Wa-Salaam
24:20passed away
24:21and Prophet-Sallallahu-Alaihi-Wa-Sallam
24:23spent his last moments
24:25in my lap
24:26She is the favourite wife
24:28of Huzoor-Alaihi-Salaatu-Wa-Salaam
24:29Umm-ul-Mu'mineen
24:30Ayesha Siddiqa
24:31May Allah Almighty bless her
24:32Her kindness to the Ummah
24:33is that
24:34approximately 2200 Ahadith
24:36have reached the Ummah
24:37through her
24:38Allah Hu
24:39Most of them are
24:40related to women
24:41and family issues
24:43So this is your
24:44great cooperation
24:45with this Ummah
24:46We should respect
24:47this Ummah
24:48and our mothers and sisters
24:49should follow
24:50Ayesha Siddiqa
24:51May Allah Almighty bless her
24:52as a role model
24:53and follow her
24:54Absolutely right
24:55A dedication
24:56about the
24:57battle of war
24:58for the
24:59companions of
25:00Badr
25:01Bismillah-ur-Rahman-ur-Rahim
25:02If we look at
25:03the incident of
25:04Badr
25:05then there
25:06basically
25:07Muslims
25:08did not go out
25:09for war
25:10Absolutely right
25:11The purpose was
25:12something else
25:13But what happened
25:14is that
25:15when the army of
25:16the disbelievers
25:17gathered in the
25:18battlefield of
25:19Badr
25:20then Allah Almighty
25:21commanded
25:22that now
25:23you have to
25:24go for war
25:25So on that occasion
25:26a companion
25:27stood up
25:28and when
25:29Prophet Kareem
25:30was asking
25:31the companions
25:32so a companion
25:33stood up
25:34Hazrat Miqdad
25:35and he said
25:36to Prophet Kareem
25:37O Messenger of Allah
25:38we will not
25:39call you
25:40like the
25:41people of
25:42Musa
25:43but we will
25:44not call you
25:45like the people
25:46of Badr
25:47but we
25:48will
25:49call you
25:50like the people
25:51of Badr
25:52So we
25:53get this lesson
25:54that we
25:55have to
25:56always
25:57follow
25:58Allah's
25:59command
26:00No matter
26:01how difficult
26:02the situation
26:03is
26:04We are
26:05Muslims
26:06we will
26:07not
26:08go for
26:09war
26:10but when
26:11the war
26:12is over
26:13then
26:14we
26:15will
26:16not
26:17go
26:18for war
