00:00In a land far far away, aka one of my previous videos a year ago,
00:03I embarked on a mission by letting Pinterest choose my entire house.
00:07The premise of the video was I went on Pinterest and literally typed up
00:10house and the first image that came up I had to recreate.
00:12Same for the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, and literally every room in the entire house.
00:16Now, a year later, I'm recreating this challenge to see how much my building skills have evolved.
00:24Except this time, instead of the entire house, I'm just going to be doing the exterior.
00:28So let's get started.
00:29Okay, so this is my Pinterest board.
00:33Why is the James Charles crying?
00:35I'd say my Pinterest is pretty normal, like nothing too out of the ordinary.
00:39Most of it's just building stuff and other weird things.
00:43Now, lately on Pinterest, I've been dwelling into a lot of Japanese-style bedrooms.
00:49So I'm hoping that when I type up house, it comes up with a Japanese-style house.
00:53Nothing stupid.
00:54Okay, I'm literally just going to type in house and enter.
00:57What the hell is even that?

01:30Okay, to make this easier for you guys,
01:32there will be a picture of the pin up on the top left
01:35so you guys know exactly what I'm recreating
01:37and how much it will not look alike.
01:39Okay, so it appears we have some sort of little oval-shaped here.
01:44Most of this is made out of basic shapes,
01:47but I'm not even gonna lie to you guys,
01:49I'm not the best at basic shapes.
01:51So I don't know how we're gonna make this work.
01:53Okay, so we've got an empty spot here.
01:55If I zoom into this image, what even is this?
01:58This looks like the dining room and like the staircase here, oh god.
02:02And it appears we have a diagonal entryway,
02:04which you know how much I absolutely despise anything diagonal in Bloxburg.
02:09I would rather eat shriveled up worms for breakfast than recreate this,
02:14but okay, then we have this weird little section here.
02:17What even is this?
02:19Now, the easy thing for me is this entire house is white,
02:23so at least I'm not gonna spend too much time painting the outside.
02:26Oh my god, you know what I just realized?
02:28When I zoom in, there's more to the house.
02:30There's no way.
02:31You know what? That was never there.
02:32You guys are seeing things.
02:33I'm only recreating this part.
02:35And apparently Dr. Einstein lives here
02:37because there is a massive
02:40window on the roof,
02:42which is absolutely lovely for me
02:44because that makes this house three stories tall.
02:46Now, you're probably like,
02:47Alaska, what does the side in the back of the house look like?
02:51I don't know and I don't care.
02:52I am just gonna come up with my own interpretation
02:55of what the back of this house looks like.
02:57Okay, I don't know if this is looking like the house from Pinterest,
02:59but I'm gonna paint it white and then add some windows
03:02and hopefully it'll start looking like the pin.
03:04See, this part over here, it looks like there's no windows.
03:07The dining room just looks like a massive open concept,
03:10but I am assuming there is windows
03:12and it appears everything is tinted pink,
03:15so we are literally gonna have to tint all of these windows pink.
03:18I don't even know where the entryway goes in this house.
03:20I'm assuming right here.

03:23I'm hoping that it goes there.
03:24I can't get over the fact that there is literally so many windows in this house.
03:29All I'm gonna say is just remind me to never do a challenge like this in my life.

03:41will at least give this house a bit of structure.

03:51and showed them this house and was like,
03:53yeah, I want you to recreate this for me.

03:56I'd be like, mate, you are taking the p***
03:58because there is no way I'm gonna recreate this house.

04:03I love how this video was meant to prove to you guys that,

04:06I have improved as a builder.
04:08This is quite frankly giving the opposite effect of that.
04:11I want to recreate the structure of this windows.
04:13For that, we shall use some square beams.
04:16Also, I just realized this house is AI.
04:18Like, look, the window isn't even connected to the actual building.
04:21I hate all AI buildings.
04:23I hope they perish.
04:24That just made the window look uglier than it already was.
04:27Great, now we're gonna have to recreate it on this side.

04:41Second of all, why does the beams on your window
04:44make it look like a jail cell?
04:45Because it currently looks like I'm building a jail cell for Barbie.
04:49This does not look appealing at all,
04:50but I have to recreate it because Pinterest decides my build.

05:01You know, it's now come to my understanding
05:03that I'm pretty sure this house is meant to be a seashell.
05:05Like, if I zoom in, there's literally a massive shell on the house.
05:09It's meant to be a seashell.

05:12Now, we need to give this house a little bit of a shape to it.
05:15A little bit of curve, if you will.
05:17And in fact, the perfect roof for this is a mansard roof.
05:20Also, don't tell anyone, but this third floor up here,
05:23I'm absolutely getting rid of.
05:24I mean, it will stay for the purpose of the video,
05:26but there is no way in hell that I'm actually adding a room in there.

05:38Just in case you're confused because, um, I know I am.
05:41Now, if we zoom into this part over here,
05:43it looks like we have a little balcony,
05:45which technically the balcony is meant to go here.
05:48So low-key, I think I screwed up on the roof.
05:50You can't add a balcony on a mansard roof because the elevation is too high.
05:54So we shall add a flat roof.

05:57I'm going to tell you a little secret about this video.
06:00So I was originally going to let Pinterest choose my entire house.
06:04For example, the bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, literally everything.
06:07But then as soon as I typed up house and got this photo for the house,
06:11I already knew that, yeah,
06:12I'm going to spend this entire video doing this stupid seashell house.
06:16So see how the side of the seashell house is all curved
06:19and this house is all like sharp edges?
06:21That literally means we have to use a smooth basic shape
06:25and go around the house and make it smooth.
06:27Listen, I will never threaten a person,
06:29but whoever made that AI art, count your days.
06:32Another thing we need to make less sharp is these two flat roofs right here.
06:36Oh my god, guys, there is currently construction workers that just came to our house.
06:41They can probably definitely hear me scream in my office about how much I hate this house.
06:45They probably think I'm like some sort of psychopath.
06:47I'm here in my office like, whoever built this AI art, count your days.
06:51Okay, I feel like this is definitely less sharp than what it was before
06:54or maybe I'm just gaslighting myself into saying it is.
06:57And a few little details this house has is the seashells attached to it.
07:01Now, Blocksburg doesn't have big seashells, but you know what they do have?

07:07What material would we even use for a shell?
07:09Oh, large flowers actually kind of work.
07:15They don't really look like a shell.
07:17They more so look like an oyster, but you know what?

07:28Okay, I think I'm just gonna like squirt shells everywhere on this house.

07:34Okay, now I'm just gonna add some lights and call it a day on this house.
07:38I don't think there's any more work I can do on this house to make it look more appealing
07:41unless I'm like a professional builder, which I am not.
07:44Also, this is so random, but I recently found out there is a Reddit page made about me and
07:50everyone in it was saying how much I suck at building.
07:52And all I'm gonna say is let me join the group because I've got so much to say.

08:02I feel like this house would do wonders in Minecraft.
08:05Like if you built this in Minecraft, I reckon it would look amazing, especially underwater.

08:14but the fact the left of this house is just floating is driving me insane.
08:17So listen, we're just gonna add one pillar.

08:21Hey, I mean this part of the house looks kind of good.
08:23Okay, if we put the photo in this house side by side, there are definitely a few similarities.
08:29Okay, maybe if we finish the front yard, this house will look somewhat salvageable.
08:33So I'm here on Pinterest and instead of just typing up front yard,
08:36I'm gonna type up mythical front yard and do the first thing that pops up.
08:41Okay, well that's an ad, so we're definitely not using that.
08:48I guess the first thing we're doing is this.
08:50Oh, this is kind of cute.
08:53Okay, I think we can definitely make this work.
08:54Okay, so the picture's up here.
08:56Now we just have to try and recreate it at the front yard.
08:59The first thing I noticed is the little stone path they added.
09:02And instead of just having a straight pathway,
09:04we're gonna make it a little bit crisscrossy.
09:07And at least that way the pathway has some depth to it.
09:09Oh, and to make these pathways look more natural, I like to add grass in between the empty spots.
09:14Okay, I like the way that path turned out.
09:16I think that's pretty accurate to the photo.
09:17Another thing that photo had was a bunch of flowers and bushes in the front yard.
09:22So we're gonna do the exact same.
09:23This house is literally so insane because tell me why we have a seashell house
09:28and then a mythical fairy front yard.
09:30Like girl, make up your mind.
09:31As much as this front yard looks cute,
09:33I can just only imagine all of the snakes and bugs that are hiding inside these flowers.
09:38Okay, so I've got all the flowers.
09:40It appears we've got the big bushes at the back.
09:42And last but not least, they have a little gazebo.
09:45Oh my god, is this AI art as well?
09:47Bro, AI needs to stop.
09:49Man, I think that was a real drawing.
09:50Anyway, the gazebo is gonna go here.
09:52This looks like a replica from the gazebo in the photo up here.

09:56I'm quite happy with that pin.
09:58I like the way the front yard turned out.
10:00Last thing I'm gonna do is just go ahead and add some lights inside this house
10:04to make it really feel alive.
10:06A few moments later.
10:08Okay, so I've added a few lights which means our Pinterest house is complete on the exterior.
10:12So this is what we have so far.
10:15Okay, so this is an image of the house that Pinterest gave me
10:18and this is my sad attempt of trying to recreate this house.
10:23I'm gonna be honest, y'all.
10:24I have like a three-year-old niece and I think she can do better than this.
10:28First of all, this house looks like it has warts coming out of it
10:31but these are meant to be seashells.
10:33Accuracy, I'd give this like a 5 out of 10.
10:35I mean, the pink tint is pretty cool.
10:37I just wish it was a different shape.
10:39But I mean, hey, if you want to give yourself a challenge and recreate this pin,
10:43feel free to and tag me because I really want to see your recreation of it.
10:47I'm actually so curious to see if one of you are able to recreate this house.
10:50But yeah, and as for the front yard,
10:53this is the image that first came up on Pinterest
10:55and this is my recreation of the front yard.
10:58So my conclusion this video is that my building abilities have decreased
11:02since I have lost on this challenge.
