00:21:20would approximately take 2 hours to complete. Then, the undocking from the space station
00:21:26would start at 10.15 am which would take another 20 minutes.
00:21:40For the next 14 hours, the NASA astronauts Nick Haig, Sunita Williams, and Butch Wilmore
00:21:46as well as Roscosmos cosmonaut Alexander Gorbunov will travel through space to near Earth's
00:21:53orbit. Clear weather conditions at the Florida splashdown sites will then lead to the process
00:22:00of deorbit turned tentatively at 2.41 am on 19th March and at about 3.27 am, the splashdown
00:22:08of the Dragon spacecraft will mark the return of 58-year-old Sunita Williams to Earth.
00:22:16But, it would be a long hard road to rehabilitate and readjust to life on Earth after 9 long
00:22:24months of space mission.
00:22:29They have to readapt to being back on the ground and so that involves, you know, there'll
00:22:37be a landing recovery team, the medical team is part of that and so we'll go out to the
00:22:44landing site and help get the crew off the vehicle and bring them back here to Houston
00:22:52and then once they're back here, there's a basically a 45-day period of fairly intensive
00:23:02reconditioning.
00:23:03Bureau report, India Today.
00:23:13The morning after in Nagpur, after an evening, a night of horrific scenes, communal clashes,
00:23:20stone pelting, arson, tense calm that can be seen.
00:23:24Now, this eerie calm that is being seen this morning is also reflective of what unfolded
00:23:30last evening.
00:23:31Section 144 imposed, large gatherings will not be allowed, Nagpur is being fortified,
00:23:35heavy police deployment, over 60 rioters taken in custody, remember that police personnel
00:23:40have also been injured in Nagpur violence, images coming in of police personnel clearly
00:23:46with injuries.
00:23:47Vehicles were torched, cars vandalized, stone pelting in heavy measure was reported on the
00:23:52streets.
00:23:53The question is this, did the administration have no information this could happen, especially
00:23:59perhaps in more sensitive areas, in communal hotspots.
00:24:02Look at that, arson of this nature, public property vandalized, vehicles on fire, just
00:24:08imagine innocent residents in their home, how scared would the families be?
00:24:13India Today is on the ground right now to tell you all the latest, my colleague Sumi
00:24:17has been reporting from Nagpur, Sumi good morning, tell me more about what is this morning
00:24:22looking like and I am curious, what happened in Nagpur, what according to you, what the
00:24:28eyewitnesses are saying was a possible trigger that a communal riot erupted?
00:24:33Yes, absolutely, that is in fact the most interesting part, a lot of misinformation
00:24:43and puja floated around and that is what is the reason behind the violence eruption
00:24:48that gripped Nagpur yesterday, remember this city has no history of communal violence,
00:24:53however this morning when we are present here at the ring road of Nagpur near the Mahal
00:24:58area, where the violence broke out, the situation is now slowly and steadily inching towards
00:25:04normalcy.
00:25:05There has been several police personnel, several teams of police personnel who have been placed
00:25:09at several nook and crannies of the city just to make sure that the law and order
00:25:14remains intact, the tensions escalated yesterday after there were several protests that happened
00:25:20by a certain group and in fact several vehicles were also torched, several stones were pelted
00:25:25in Nagpur's Mahal area, additionally explosions were also heard on vehicles that were torched,
00:25:31fire brigade immediately were rushed to the spot and two JCPs were also set on fire including
00:25:36several two vehicles across several streets and certainly this is quite worrisome because
00:25:42we are talking about such a city with such great history, 300 year old history where
00:25:49not many people had heard of communal tensions and in fact here both the communities live
00:25:54in utter peace and harmony, this was the first time that the bystanders have also been telling
00:25:59us that this was the first time any such tensions have gripped the peaceful city of Nagpur and
00:26:05in fact what we are also picking up from our highly placed sources within the Nagpur police
00:26:09is that 47 people have been detained on the basis of CCTV footages that had been placed
00:26:15at several corners and in fact these CCTV footages are being identified, are being analysed
00:26:20and people are being identified and they are constantly being put behind bars and that's
00:26:26what Ravindra Singhal, the Nagpur commissioner has told us but what we are picking up is
00:26:30the situation as I said is inching towards normalcy, people are getting out of their
00:26:33houses to get back to work and this was yesterday between 7.30 to 9.30 when the clashes broke
00:26:40out here and certainly as per the latest information that we are picking up, more than 20 police
00:26:46personnel had also been injured due to heavy stone pelting but you see all these barricades
00:26:51that have been placed here at several places, these barricades are being, in fact these
00:26:56barricades are now protecting the law and order and section 163 of the BNS has also
00:27:00been placed and which is why several announcements are also being made and not more than 4 people
00:27:06are allowed to accumulate at any given point.
00:27:09The administration right now is making sure that the situation remains intact, however
00:27:14this is the sensitive area where people from both the communities reside and they have
00:27:18been residing since several years, however when the tensions gripped, the mob moved from
00:27:24one point to another and this was the traditional route from where they moved and in fact this
00:27:28was the very point where it happened and several, you know, two JCBs, several vehicles
00:27:33were torched and they have been taken to the Thane.
00:27:36You see now the police officials are very active, very alert and they are very, in fact,
00:27:42vigilant and they are not letting people roam around across the streets freely and they
00:27:47are making sure that there are no, you know, hay sayers going around because there was
00:27:52a lot of misinformation that was behind this entire incident, a lot of misinformation,
00:27:57a lot of whatsapp messages and videos and rumour mongering that led to this violence
00:28:03that has now gripped Andhapur, however situation is a lot under control this morning.
00:28:10It's under control but remember only because there's a certain police deployment, a quick
00:28:14question also Sumi from you, as we see these visuals coming in from last night, it's, it's
00:28:20horrifying to say the least, can you quickly just show us around, possibly a 360 degree
00:28:25view of what same residential areas are looking like right now, do you see police deployment
00:28:30around in this corner?
00:28:37Yes, absolutely.
00:28:38Residential areas are also at peace where these vehicles were torched, however I'm a
00:28:43few feet away from that particular area but there were several, as I said, cars that were
00:28:48torched and now a few of the cars have also been taken to the nearby police station but
00:28:53here this particular route that you're looking at, this is where the mob accumulated and
00:28:58went to several areas, in fact they sporadically went in several groups and torched whatever
00:29:03came to their sight and in fact this is this particular area where I will also try to speak
00:29:10with the bystanders who had been in fact the eyewitness of this entire incident, I will
00:29:17try to speak to a few of them here, I will also try to talk to a few bystanders here,
00:29:33however we were witnessing people moving very normally across, however you see these cars
00:29:40have received all the damage and in fact the cobblestones and huge bricks and concrete
00:29:46have been thrown at it which is why these cars that became the victims of such violence
00:29:52that erupted in Nagpur, these are the residential areas where the violence erupted and the mob...
00:29:58So men keep tracking the latest, there is no justification to the kind of mob violence
00:30:02we are witnessing...
00:30:03Go ahead.
00:30:04Yes, yes, go ahead.
00:31:04Yes, yes, go ahead.
00:31:34Yes, yes, go ahead.
00:32:04Absolutely, here as you see the locals are giving out the message of peace and harmony
00:32:25and in fact they are also requesting everybody to stay vigilant but also to stay with, to
00:32:32stay at peace and to stay with the lot of love that they already had and in fact they
00:32:38also believe that they were some outsiders who had conspired to ruin the hormonal situation
00:32:44here and to lead this communal violence here in Nagpur to damage and to puncture the law
00:32:50and order situation here in Nagpur.
00:32:53Very crucial eyewitness accounts Sumi that you are bringing to us, truly appreciate it,
00:32:58stay safe as well, the area is still tense, remember police has taken over but what these
00:33:02residents are telling you that when you see groups already congregating you realize that
00:33:08there could be miscreants, radicals in these groups, what was the administration doing?
00:33:13Look at this, why should the policemen also get injured like this, in this manner?
00:33:18Residents, I can only imagine innocent families, women and children who must be huddled in
00:33:23their houses, what were the intelligence agencies doing?
00:33:27What was the police administration doing beforehand when the groups started to congregate?
00:33:32War is now over Aurangzeb's tomb, remember the government in the state has started to
00:33:37say very categorically led by Chief Minister, there is no reason for an Aurangzeb tomb to
00:33:42be standing and in Sambhaji Nagar specially for a Mughal emperor who is known for his
00:33:47documented brutalities against Hindus specifically and in general but it appeared that it led
00:33:54to a dispute, there was a dispute between two groups, what exactly was the trigger?
00:34:00Was there a rumor, misinformation?
00:34:03What got two groups confronting each other leading to clashes of such nature that it
00:34:07led to arson, public property being vandalized and burnt, 60 rioters allegedly have now been
00:34:13taken in custody by the cops but the aftermath shows, vehicles have been fired, mass of stone
00:34:19pelting for hours, eyewitnesses saying rioters even had sharp weapons and had covered their
00:34:24face with scarves, does that mean this was a pre-planned riot or pre-planned attempt
00:34:31to disturb the harmony and sanctity there in Nagpur, we are also told massive bricks
00:34:37and stones were used, the situation currently under control but it's also like a curfew
00:34:41like situation which means deployment of police across Nagpur, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis
00:34:46remember earlier in the day had said that those who are going to defend Aurangzeb in
00:34:51Maharashtra, in India will not be spared, now the opposition is taking aim at the Mahayati

00:47:49rumour mongering, the digital evidence, what are people saying who were huddled in their
00:47:54houses about till when did this arson and violence go on till eventually it was brought
00:47:59under control because how can a rumour or misinformation spread so fast that there are
00:48:04groups on the streets wanting each other's blood.
00:48:20Tulsi Gabbard in India had made a remark on the persecution of Hindus and minorities in
00:48:25neighbour nation Bangladesh and now Bangladesh has decided to in return slam Tulsi's remark,
00:48:32Bangladesh says Tulsi Gabbard's remarks are not based on evidence, they are claiming that
00:48:37Tulsi Gabbard who is now the intel chief for the United States of America has been in India
00:48:42and meeting senior leadership here says painted nation with an unjustified brush, Tulsi Gabbard
00:48:49had said that there is persecution that is currently on and she basically went on to
00:48:56say that the interim government of Professor Muhammad Yunus is therefore at this point
00:49:03remember witnessing the kind of violence and persecution seen of the minority especially
00:49:09Hindus but for now the government has given out a statement that saying that her comments
00:49:15were not based on evidence or specific allegations, they paint an entire nation with a broad and
00:49:20unjustified brush, the chief advisor's office has given out the statement on social media
00:49:25around midnight and therefore putting out a statement but isn't there evidence at all,
00:49:31remember the visuals that have been coming in from Bangladesh have been concerning where
00:49:36whether it's the Hindu villagers or from the community leaders, the religious leaders
00:49:41from the Iskcon which is prominent in Bangladesh have said appealing for how they need help
00:49:47because they are literally being massacred, butchered and targeted in Bangladesh, the situation
00:49:52may seem under control on certain days and then eventually violence erupting, now Tulsi Gabbard
00:49:58remember interestingly while speaking to the media persons in India was very clear and crisp,
00:50:03she said we are fully aware of the incidents happening in Bangladesh under this new regime
00:50:08and it is being looked at, our foreign affairs editor Geeta Mohan for the latest on this,
00:50:12Geeta good morning, tell me more about what Bangladesh interim government is saying right now
00:50:18and this time to Tulsi Gabbard who was very clear with what she said she believed is happening
00:50:23in Bangladesh, they have actually called the entire statement groundless saying that linking
00:50:30Bangladesh to the Islamist caliphate undermines the hard work of the countless Bangladeshis
00:50:36and their friends, this is a statement coming from UNIS regime, Pooja the fact that Tulsi Gabbard
00:50:43the director of national intelligence United States of America has put UNIS regime on a clock
00:50:50so to say in terms of what they are doing, it is on notice in terms of what is happening on the ground
00:50:58and that there are reports that have gone back to headquarters in Washington DC for Tulsi Gabbard
00:51:04to be making the statement that she is, she has alleged persecution and killing of religious minorities
00:51:09in Bangladesh, threat of Islamic terrorism and the ideology and objective is completely rooted to rule
00:51:19and govern with an Islamist caliphate, these are statements that have now been rejected by the UNIS regime
00:51:25and the caretaker government says that this is only damaging the image and reputation of Bangladesh
00:51:32having said that we will have to wait and see how the new Trump administration really engages
00:51:38a caretaker government in Bangladesh which should lead to elections and whether if there is going to be
00:51:46reinstatement or certainly looking at involvement of army league in the coming elections in Bangladesh itself
00:52:17that had what led to the suspicion of authorities and they started tracking her movement
00:52:2152 trips to Dubai in total in just one year in 2024, in fact in 2025 this year which means only 2 months
00:52:2927 visits to Dubai but also often travelling via Bengaluru, Goa and Mumbai
00:52:35so when the attention of the authorities were caught on this and they started tracking
00:52:39it led to speculation if there is something more happening, if there is an organized smuggling network here
00:52:44so officials are now going to investigate according to our sources, bank accounts, financial transactions
00:52:50and spanning the last 2 years they suspect that possibly the money she received in the bank account
00:52:54was transferred to other accounts and those unidentified accounts could actually have a link
00:53:00to the gold smuggling syndicate of an international stature, one of her crime partners so to say
00:53:06allegedly right now Tarun Raju is also under the ED scanner that he could be handling the Hawala transactions
00:53:12is what the investigators are looking at but also in the dock is a DGP rank, stepfather Ramachandra Rao
00:53:19he has been sent on a compulsory leave but he will also be questioned very soon
00:53:26so I want to just tell you about what has been happening, is there a Hawala link?
00:53:29was there some sort of a money laundering that was happening?
00:53:32that is something that the investigators are going to look at
00:53:36this man Tarun Raju, he is an actor, he is a businessman, his name is coming to the fore
00:53:41if he has been a part of Hawala transactions, money being transferred via Hawala to buy gold in Dubai
00:53:48that gold then gets smuggled into India by actress Rania Rao
00:53:53then money of all of this effort transferred to her accounts and then sent to unidentified accounts
00:54:00where the investigators say could be linked to an international syndicate
00:54:07meanwhile very similar to what Delhi saw as the liquor scam charge is happening in Tamil Nadu too
00:54:15TVK chief Vijay dismissed the BJP liquor protest labelling them as mere theatrics
00:54:19Vijay questioning the delay in action from the ED, criticising both the BJP and DMK for behind the scenes collusion
00:54:25Tamil Nadu BJP chief Annamalai hit back at Vijay of the TVK
00:54:29accusing the opposition of playing politics and that they are not addressing real issues
00:54:34but it's the minister Senthil Balaji who will be in the dock
00:54:37because the BJP is going after him saying he is the liquor scam mastermind
00:54:42but what he has to say is that there is no room for malpractice in TASMAC's tendering process
00:54:48what is TASMAC? It's the Tamil Nadu State Marketing Cooperation Limited
00:54:51and fully owned by Tamil Nadu government, it procures liquor from the local units, beer manufacturers
00:54:57and distributes it to over 40 depots statewide
00:55:01but TASMAC is currently facing the charge that it is involved in the kind of money laundering or the scam that is being alleged
00:55:32it's a very shameful attitude of the senior police officers of the state
00:55:36that they believe, ok, BJP is doing a protest against DMK
00:55:40let me harass all the women gathers
00:55:43they have arrested a lot of people, they had 7-8 kalyana mantapa over full
00:55:47they couldn't even have kalyana mantapa where they can keep people
00:55:50they left people in the road
00:55:52after 6 o'clock you are not supposed to keep a mother or a sister in detention
00:55:55they kept till 7 o'clock
00:55:57till 6.20 I waited, I told at least release the women
00:56:00we will be waiting
00:56:02but they are so arrogant
00:56:04it is 7 o'clock
00:56:06I don't know who is that sack
00:56:09whom they are contacting
00:56:11as a democratic party I have all right to agitate
00:56:14is it fair to keep us like this?
00:56:16no, this is atrocious
00:56:19they are not behaving as per the law
00:56:22they are not behaving as per the legal aspects
00:56:27the agitation they got us
00:56:29to get release we have to agitate
00:56:31so in Tamil Nadu without agitation nothing will happen
00:56:34why are you not following the law?
00:56:36Tamil Nadu chief minister I am asking this question to you
00:56:59I am asking this question to you
00:57:30India Today's managing editor Gaurav Sawant is joining me for the latest on that
00:57:34Gaurav, good morning
00:57:35as we look at this West Asia conflict of Israel and Gaza
00:57:38and Israel again striking the Hamas terror targets
00:57:42that looks like the ceasefire is over
00:57:45what is the reason?
00:57:46do you think it is also because Hamas has not been releasing the hostages
00:57:49as was promised?
00:57:51you are absolutely right
00:57:53Israel's prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu had made it very clear
00:57:57that certain conditions had to be fulfilled by Hamas
00:58:01and if Hamas could not fulfill those conditions
00:58:04not follow the timelines
00:58:06not release the people
00:58:07as mentioned in the ceasefire agreement
00:58:10then there would be no ceasefire
00:58:12at the same time
00:58:14a warning was given
00:58:16by Israel's prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu
00:58:19interlocutors had moved in once in the past
00:58:21and had asked Hamas to continue to follow
00:58:24all the conditions that had been laid down
00:58:26Hamas on the other hand had insisted
00:58:281. there should be permanent ceasefire
00:58:312. Israel had to withdraw completely
00:58:34and it just became unbearable
00:58:37the information that we have is
00:58:39there are still a large number of living hostages
00:58:43and a number of dead bodies
00:58:45of hostages killed
00:58:47in custody that Israel wanted back
00:58:50following a certain timeline
00:58:52since that did not happen
00:58:54the hostilities have escalated once again
00:58:57what we are also told is that
00:58:58the United States has also provided Israel
00:59:01the kind of weapons Israel needed
00:59:03remember towards the end of the Biden administration
00:59:05there were certain delays
00:59:07in weapons being provided to Israel
00:59:10to target not just Hamas
00:59:12but also what Iran calls the axis of resistance
00:59:16and Israel calls the axis of evil
00:59:18with Hezbollah targeting Israel from one side
00:59:21Houthi rebels trying to target
00:59:23shipping lanes on the other
00:59:25and of course the direct fight that happened
00:59:27once between Israel and Iran
00:59:29now Israel is well prepared
00:59:31the United States has already bombed
00:59:33Houthi targets and made it very clear
00:59:36should they attempt something
00:59:37there would be massive punitive retaliation
00:59:40so this is where perhaps the attempt is
00:59:42to degrade Hamas as much as possible
00:59:45in the Gaza Strip, Pooja
00:59:47very interesting
00:59:48while we may be looking at Russia, Ukraine
00:59:50war coming to an end
00:59:52and going for a ceasefire
00:59:54but for Israel and Gaza
00:59:56perhaps the situation is still concerning
01:00:00let's listen in now to the visuals
01:00:02coming in from on the ground
01:00:20Music
01:00:26Donald Trump hits out at
01:00:28former President over
01:00:30the delayed return of Sunita Williams
01:00:33Trump is alleging
01:00:35Biden forgot the astronauts in space
01:00:37so a political showdown
01:00:39that has emerged in the United States of America
01:00:41between the incumbent and former regimes
01:00:43over the return of the stranded astronauts
01:00:45Donald Trump says, I quote him here
01:00:47Biden had been incapable
01:00:49of bringing the astronauts home
01:00:51in many ways taking a self credit
01:00:53that his government and with Elon Musk
01:00:55has been able to possibly very soon
01:00:57bring back the astronauts
01:00:59Trump remember also thanking NASA chief
01:01:01for the return of the astronauts
01:01:03Donald Trump says looking forward to
01:01:05seeing Butch and Suni
01:01:06Suni as Sunita Williams is called
01:01:08but also remember that both stranded astronauts
01:01:10also decided to thank
01:01:12the incumbent President Donald Trump
01:01:14and also Elon Musk
01:01:16for their rescue efforts
01:01:17because remember barely about a few months
01:01:19ago it appeared that
01:01:21the return is going to be further
01:01:23delayed
01:01:25Music
01:01:29we're coming back before long so
01:01:31you know don't make all those plans without me
01:01:33we'll be back before too long
01:01:35I can tell you at the outset
01:01:37we have all of us have the utmost respect
01:01:39for Mr. Musk and obviously
01:01:41respect and admiration for our
01:01:43President of the United States
01:01:45Donald Trump we appreciate them
01:01:47we appreciate all that they do for us
01:01:49for human space flight for our nation
01:01:51and we're thankful that they're in
01:01:53the positions they're in
01:01:55and remember that for these stranded
01:01:57astronauts it wasn't just wait and
01:01:59watch at the International Space Station
01:02:01they helped design better reactors
01:02:03building wooden satellites preparing
01:02:05for missions to the moon and the Mars
01:02:07so here's a NASA report on how
01:02:09these two astronauts spent their
01:02:11time while they were facing
01:02:13uncertainty they did not know when
01:02:15will they return but the work was on
01:02:17Music
01:02:19we're constantly doing
01:02:21experiments we're constantly collecting
01:02:23data we're constantly trying to answer
01:02:25questions and usually that leads to more
01:02:27questions the focus of the question
01:02:29though is what happens
01:02:31when you take gravity away
01:02:33because it's such a strong
01:02:35force it masks lots of
01:02:37the nuances in different things
01:02:39that behave around us and
01:02:41understanding those nuances helps
01:02:43us understand more about ourselves
01:02:45as well as the universe and how we
01:02:47interact with it so we look at
01:02:49medicines we look at materials
01:02:51and making new materials we look at
01:02:53how we behave so
01:02:55that we know how medicines might interact with
01:02:57us or how to counteract diseases
01:02:59you name it we're doing research on it up
01:03:01here we've had
01:03:03opportunities to do all sorts of science
01:03:05spacewalks it's
01:03:07varied and pretty awesome
01:03:09actually opportunity to do something
01:03:11different every single day you can
01:03:13see butch walmart with the different
01:03:15canisters to collect those microorganisms
01:03:17swaps
01:03:19a great view from the
01:03:21helmet camera of mass astronaut nick
01:03:23haig you can see floating off just past that left
01:03:25hand of his those are the wedge shaped
01:03:27nicer patches that he'll be
01:03:29inserting into the nicer experiment
01:03:31the x-ray telescope
01:03:33anytime you look
01:03:35out the window it's pretty amazing the
01:03:37aurora borealis aurora australis
01:03:39just to see the variety of the earth
01:03:41from above it's just
01:03:43thrilling
01:03:45these are called astro bees
01:03:47so they actually
01:03:49can come off the wall and fly around
01:03:51huge opportunities for people
01:03:53to test out guidance navigation
01:03:55control on a quote
01:03:57unquote spacecraft in microgravity
01:03:59inside here so we have companies
01:04:01universities students all
01:04:03flying these astro bees around
01:04:05at different times some of them are actually
01:04:07even grabbing onto other pieces that we
01:04:09might have floating around and that might help us
01:04:11clean up space debris we have
01:04:13a tray right here that does some
01:04:15combustion experiments right on the
01:04:17other side of butch is a glove box
01:04:19where we've done some stem cell
01:04:21research as well as dna sequencing
01:04:23and there's an airlock where
01:04:25it can take payloads out
01:04:27of the space station and those could be
01:04:29earth observation satellites
01:04:31they could be launchers of other
01:04:33micro satellites they could be doing all sorts
01:04:35of amazing stuff the mission
01:04:37of the space station the
01:04:39scientific exploration is something
01:04:41that we deeply believe
01:04:43in and it's ability
01:04:45to make a positive impact for
01:04:47all of humanity
01:04:51so stay tuned 19th march
01:04:533.30 a.m. when we are expecting
01:04:55the spacecraft and this is indian standard
01:04:57time for the tentative
01:04:59splashdown for the
01:05:01astronauts to return to earth
01:05:03here's a report on how the crew members
01:05:05are likely to make the return
01:05:07journey
01:05:11a spacex capsule
01:05:13delivered four astronauts
01:05:15to the international space station
01:05:17early on sunday
01:05:21crew 10 has had a
01:05:23great journey up here about 28 hours
01:05:25to get back up to the space station
01:05:27and i cannot tell you the
01:05:29immense joy on
01:05:31our crew when we looked out the window and we
01:05:33saw the space station
01:05:35the nasa cruise swap mission will
01:05:37allow astronauts stuck in space for
01:05:39nine months butch willmore and
01:05:41sunita williams to return home
01:05:45weather plays
01:05:47the most crucial role in a
01:05:49successful return
01:05:51nasa and spacex decided on
01:05:53wednesday 19th march
01:05:553.30 a.m. indian standard
01:05:57as the target for the splashdown
01:05:59of the crew nine after careful
01:06:01review of the favorable weather
01:06:03conditions in florida
01:06:05the entire journey will be
01:06:07nearly 19 hours
01:06:11starting at 8.15 a.m. on
01:06:1318th march the first step
01:06:15is the process of hatch closing
01:06:17which would approximately
01:06:19take two hours to complete
01:06:21then the undocking from the space station
01:06:23would start at 10.15
01:06:25a.m. which would take another
01:06:2720 minutes
01:06:29next up is crew
01:06:31nine commander nick haig
01:06:33welcome to the international space station
01:06:35and nick welcome back home
01:06:37for the next 14 hours
01:06:39the nasa astronauts nick
01:06:41haig sunita williams and
01:06:43butch willmore as well as
01:06:45roscosmos cosmonaut
01:06:47alexander gorbunov will travel
01:06:49through space to near earth's orbit
01:06:51clear weather conditions
01:06:53at the florida splashdown
01:06:55sites will then lead to
01:06:57the process of deorbit
01:06:59tentatively at 2.41 a.m.
01:07:01on 19th march and at
01:07:03about 3.27 a.m.
01:07:05the splashdown of the dragon spacecraft
01:07:07will mark the return
01:07:09of 58 year old sunita
01:07:11williams to earth
01:07:15but it would be a long hard
01:07:17road to rehabilitate
01:07:19and readjust to life on earth
01:07:21after nine long months of
01:07:23space mission
01:07:25they have to
01:07:27readapt to being back
01:07:29on the ground and
01:07:31so that involves
01:07:33you know there will be a
01:07:35landing recovery team
01:07:37the medical team is part of that
01:07:39and so we will go out
01:07:41to the landing site and help
01:07:43get the crew off the vehicle
01:07:45and
01:07:47bring them back here to
01:07:49houston and then once they're back here
01:07:51there's a
01:07:53basically a 45 day
01:07:55period of
01:07:57fairly intensive
01:07:59reconditioning
01:08:03bureau report
01:08:05india today
01:08:09imagine that you're
01:08:11on a mission for nine days
01:08:13and then end up stranded in the
01:08:15space in no gravity for over
01:08:17nine months but that uncertainty
01:08:19and that wait finally coming to an end
01:08:21sunita williams and bush willmore
01:08:23are set to return to earth
01:08:25it's becoming a reality but remember
01:08:27all that unfolded in space as well
01:08:29was real time by
01:08:31the world ground breaking experiments
01:08:33record breaking space walks
01:08:35and a journey unforgettable
01:08:37here is a detail on that
01:08:47what
01:08:49would you do if you were stranded
01:08:51in space for almost
01:08:53300 days
01:08:57imagine floating 400
01:08:59kilometers above earth
01:09:01facing challenges you never thought
01:09:03possible
01:09:07for indian origin nasa astronaut
01:09:09sunita williams the scenario
01:09:11became a reality but what
01:09:13exactly has sunita done in
01:09:15space during this extended
01:09:17time
01:09:23from growing
01:09:25letters in space to conducting
01:09:27groundbreaking experiments
01:09:29williams has been busy
01:09:33as part of nasa's plant
01:09:35growth research she helped study
01:09:37how plants thrive in space
01:09:39focusing on how varying conditions
01:09:41impact plant growth
01:09:43williams also made history
01:09:45by breaking space walking
01:09:47records spending over 62
01:09:49hours outside the international
01:09:51space station
01:09:57she also helped set up the
01:09:59packed bed reactor experiment
01:10:01studying how to improve water
01:10:03recovery and heat management in
01:10:05space
01:10:07the advancements could be
01:10:09crucial for long term missions
01:10:11to the moon mars and
01:10:13beyond
01:10:15while it is a far cry from the
01:10:17space adventure we imagine
01:10:19with over 900 hours of
01:10:21research and numerous record
01:10:23breaking achievements williams
01:10:25time in space has made
01:10:27history
01:10:33sunita williams has not just
01:10:35survived in space she has
01:10:37led vital research that will
01:10:39ensure the future of space travel
01:10:41bureau report india today
01:10:45on that note i'm wrapping up the first
01:10:47stop for now
