01:32His former executive secretary, Salvador Medialdea, acted as his lawyer.
01:36Two days ago, the whole world has witnessed the degrading fashion in which a former president
01:44of a sovereign country was bundled into a private aircraft and summarily transported
01:51to The Hague.
01:52It was a pure and simple kidnapping.
01:56My client was denied all access to the legal recourse, and this all in the nature of political
02:04scores settling.
02:06Meantime, the ICC had to clarify on Thursday, March 13, Duterte is in fact in their detention
02:12center after his lawyer claimed he was not there.
02:15Salvador Medialdea said in an interview outside the detention center, quote,
02:19We are told that there is no President Duterte at this facility.

03:10Authorities were hostile and unruly during former President Rodrigo Duterte's arrest.
03:16During a Malacanang briefing, Police Major General Nicolás Torre III says it was actually
03:20Duterte and his family he resorted to physical attacks during the arrest on Tuesday, March
03:2511.
03:26PNP spokesperson, Police Brigadier General John Fajardo says the arresting officers were
03:54also verbally attacked, but they observe maximum tolerance.
03:58At one point, Avancena also hit a female officer with her phone.
04:02In a separate interview, Interior Secretary John Vikramulla told Rappler they understood
04:07where the family was coming from.
04:09She was screaming at General Torre and General Torre was a gentleman about it.
04:14She was not threatened in any way.
04:18She was not bodily pushed or bodily touched in any way to make her stop.
04:26We let her express herself.
04:28We let her message come out on the media.
04:30We did not censor anything.
04:33We totally understood where she was coming from.
04:38A Special Action Force policewoman was taken to the hospital after Hanilet Avancena, the

05:11to the side to facilitate Duterte's ascent to the plane.
05:14In the process, Kitty was separated from her mother and Avancena shouted,
05:19Ibalik nyo ang anak ko.
05:20Return my daughter.
05:22At this point, she slammed her cell phone at one of the SAF.
05:25The officer, who was hurt, suffered a bump and swelling on the head.

06:11Tulfo.
06:12Meantime, Tulfo saw a six-point decrease in his rating.
06:21The survey was conducted weeks before the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte
06:25and the Marcos administration's decision to hand him over to the International Criminal
06:29Court.
06:32Federal judges in California and Maryland order the Trump administration to reinstate
06:36thousands of probationary federal workers who were fired during mass layoffs at 19 agencies.
06:43U.S. District Judge James Brodar in Baltimore agrees with 20 Democratic-led states, ruling
06:48that 18 agencies violated regulations by firing probationary employees.
06:53The restraining order applies to agencies like the Environmental Protection Agency,
06:58the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the U.S. Agency for International Development,
07:03which have been targeted for deregulation and cost-cutting by the Trump administration.

08:10instability.
08:11Soo-hyun lost over 500,000 followers on Instagram and reportedly faces brand endorsement penalties
08:17of up to 20 billion won, or nearly $14 million.

08:30The video included a photo allegedly taken in 2016 showing Soo-hyun kissing Sae-ron,

08:42was only made available in the market in 2019, while another photo was taken on Christmas
08:47Eve 2019 based on the metadata.

08:54out to him in March 2024 for help to settle her debt following her drunk driving incident
