00:00Comelec has set up transparency servers where media and political parties can access the results of the election 2025.

00:12Tomorrow afternoon, the printing of ballots will be finished.

00:17Chino Gaston is on the line.

00:20According to the National Printing Office, the printing of ballots for the election 2025 is almost complete.

00:30Tomorrow, the National Printing Office will complete the printing of more than 69 million ballots for the upcoming election.

00:39Comelec is happy because they were able to follow their scheduled schedule for more than two months before the election in May.

00:48It is noteworthy that there was a two-week setback when Comelec resumed printing

00:53under the order of the Supreme Court that included the ballots that were considered by Comelec as nuisance candidates.

00:58Our first challenge was when the Supreme Court issued a TRO

01:05because we were forced to start printing ballots.

01:13Another challenge was the space of the NPO.

01:18That is why Comelec used another facility in Amoranto because the space of the NPO is small.

01:29As for the BIS, the printing was fast.

01:32Another challenge was the segregation of the printed BIS.

01:40The Commission on Elections inspected the satellite site of the National Printing Office in Maycawayan, Bulacan

01:46where the voters' information sheet or BIS is being printed.

01:5037 million or more than half of the BIS was printed.

01:54The printing of BIS will be completed before the end of the month.

01:58The Commission on Elections showed to the media and election watch groups the transparency server in the data center 3 in Makati.

02:06It is placed in a sealed room and secured.

02:10It is one of the Comelec servers that will receive direct transmission from each precinct across the country

02:16and will be used by the media to print the number of votes.

02:20Once the result is sent from the precinct, they will receive the result simultaneously.

02:26The PPC-RB, NAMFREL, LAKAS, Nationalista Party, and the media will receive the result from each precinct.

02:39So if we have 94,000 precincts, the 94,000 precincts across the Philippines will send the result to those entities.
