00:00What it amounts to is that whilst as an administration we have always sought a compromise,
00:06the first, the substantive motion would have given us a compromise that 4Cs Academy would have accepted.
00:14The amendment to the motion we know hasn't been, was not acceptable to them
00:21and reluctantly most of my group voted against it.
00:25We gave the whole group a free vote and we did allow that tonight's decision would in fact be our,
00:34we'd abide by the decision of full council.
00:37So what we've in effect done is allowed full council, which is what they asked for,
00:43to make the decision as to whether the land was going to be demised by either 63% or 77%.
00:53And they've chosen to go back to the academy and we don't believe they'll accept that,
00:59which could lead to a judicial review.
01:02We now have to wait and see what their decision is.
01:05Whether they'll accept it or as we've heard before, they won't,
01:10but I can't in all conscience potentially condemn another generation of Ken Stimson pupils
01:18to not having any educational outside facility.
