00:09I just had a talk with our regional director of police, General Wonky.

00:14And this is the first time this has happened to a tourist.

00:19Just to reiterate, this is really very isolated.

00:22And right now, the police are now on top of things.

00:27They don't have a place to sleep.

00:29And they are doing everything they can to solve it as soon as possible.

00:32Again, the Philippines is safe.

00:36Especially Buracay.

00:38This is the first time this has happened in so many years.

00:41But initially, sir, what is being reported?

00:44Because you could have been sexually molested.

00:47Well, what's in the newspaper, I just cannot give you much details right now.

00:55All that I can tell you is that the police are on top of this.

00:58I've been a DILG secretary before.

01:01Sometimes, even though I want to say what I know, I cannot because it might affect the investigation.

01:08But one thing I can assure you, from day one of this investigation,

01:13the police did not sleep at all.

01:16And it looks like the investigation is going well.

01:20Has the remains been returned to the country?

01:23I haven't asked that yet.

01:25But I'm sure, right now, it's probably still here.

01:28Is there a certain effect to this tourism arrival so far?

01:32Well, it's too early to tell, ma'am.

01:34That's why I would like to reiterate that as far as the police records are concerned,

01:39this is a very isolated case.

01:42I think it's even the first time that it has happened to a tourist.

01:45It's the first time.

01:46And I would like to put that on record.

01:47Because tourism is one of the strengths of our country.

01:52We condone, first of all, we condone the family.

01:56We really condone the family.

01:58We are one with the family here.

02:04This is what our police officer, General Wanki, is asking for.

02:08And I repeat, as far as the records of the police records are concerned,

02:15it's the first time that it has happened to a tourist in Iraq.

02:21So foreign tourists are very, very much safe coming to you?

02:24Yes, very much safe.

02:26You know, our country is very beautiful.

02:29The Filipinos are very kind.

02:31We are happy.

02:33There's one thing that we can be proud of, our hospitality.

02:38That's all.

02:40It's quite unfortunate that this happened.

02:43But again, the police are trying their best to solve this as soon as possible.
